Was I rude??

Were you at Redneck Wal-Mart? :teeth:

That is what we call that one in Yorktown.

....NOT! that woman sounds like she's CRAZY  BTW was she my FILs wife?!?! :lmao: she's kinda wierd and annoying like that!! ::yes::

sorry you had a bad run-in!!

isn't it amazing how you can always think of GREAT comebacks after you walk away??

:rotfl: Yes!! I had a million things I wanted to say as I was driving home and that made me more mad. Finally I told myself I wasn't being nice thinking like that and that the lady had issues and I tried to let it go. Well, until I got home and posted this on the Dis! :teeth:

Thanks everyone for the replies! So many of them have made me laugh so hard. :goodvibes :rotfl:

Hey, which Walmart was it at. I really hope it wasn't the one in Lightfoot. But if it was, remember that most people are not that rude. You were fine, she was rude. What you had in your basket and how you were handling it with the cashier was none of her business. If the cashier was having a problem with the way you placed the items on the line, she would have told you. That other woman just needs to get over it.

I LOVE the one in Lightfoot and in Gloucester. Unfortunately it was the one in Yorktown. I'm considering paying $2 to cross the Coleman bridge just to drive to the one in Gloucester because that one is so much nicer. I love the one in Lightfoot but it's a good 30 minutes away (although my dad goes there whenever he goes to WalMart, maybe I should just tag along with him next time). :scratchin

I'm actually mad for you, sitting here reading this! I have confrontation anxiety, too, but if that were me, that "lady" would have received my disdainful stare, the one-arched-eyebrow, a "what-bug-crawled-up-your-rear?", a "p*ss off," then she'd be left alone to scrutinize my back until I left.

I'm usually nice to everybody, but rude people like that don't deserve it.

This is what happens when you shop at Wal-Mart. ;)

As a cashier at Walmart- it doesn't matter to me. we take the baskets and put them on the floor on OUr side of the register, so we would end up getting the basket anyway.

That was kind of the logic I had. I always feel bad if I empty out my basket on to the belt and then hand the cashier the empty basket like "Here take this! I'm too good to take it back to the hand basket home even though I walk right by it on my way out the door". I know I'm crazy and that the cashier has more important things to worry about than a stupid hand basket but that's how I feel whenever I do this. I overthink things WAY too much. :lmao:

:offtopic:

Oh but on a happy note I bought the cutest pair of Cheshire Cat PJ pants at WalMart for $9. They have some of the cutest Disney PJ's!!
