Was Bear in the Big Blue House Cancelled.

NOOOOOOOOO we love BBBH - Treelo, Ojo, Bear, Pip, Pop - say it isn't true :scared1:

I don't think so. I think they've shelved it for the summer along with PB&J Otter (my personal favorite  ) and Out of the Box (DD's favorite) to do Breakfast with Bear and give more airtime to the Doddlebops. They've done this before when other new shows were introduced. Once the Doddlebops takes hold or is scraped (my hope) the other shows will be put back in the schedule. How sad that I know this much about kiddie shows ;). Boy, I need to get a life :rotfl2:.

Welcome welcome welcome to the Big Blue House!

I love Bear in the Big Blue House!! I love the goodbye song. I can sing just about every song they sing on the show! I miss that show. I hope they bring it back soon. :cheer2:

DOODLE BOPS ARE DEMENTED LITTLE THINGS!

What's wrong with calm shows like Bear, PB & J, Little bear, Franklin, NOW THEY ALL LOOK LIKE EVERYONE'S HIGH! No wonder kids have no attention spans now, everything is fast and bright colors!

My DD, who loves Disney Channel, can't stand watching them! I hope the big wigs at Disney are reading this when I say scrap that show!

Bear is still on at 6:30 a.m. (eastern) on Saturdays and Sundays. I (er, I mean my DD :teeth: ) certainly hope he returns to weekdays after summer programming! We love Bear (that's my best Pip and Pop impression :teeth: )!

Amy :)

Remember how they had The Book of Pooh on every other show for a while? I think this is the same thing. They always mess up the schedule in the summer, even Radio Disney takes Playhouse Disney off for the summer. Come Fall, the schedule should shake out a bit and our...*ahem*....I mean our CHILDREN'S favorites, should be back. ;)

I sure hope things straighten out come fall. I sent them and e-mail expressing my disappointment with the new shows. I switch to Noggin for Miffy and Friends when the Doodlebops come on. Kaleigh also likes 64 Zoo Lane on Noggin.

Does the Doodlebops show remind anyone of the Banana Splits show (from late 60's or so)? That was my first impression. (At least without the great Tom Sawyer series!)
