Was anyone at MNSSP on Sept 16? Did you request partial compensation from guest services?

As the subject says. It was pouring torrential rain till 8, and things were ….diminished up till the fireworks. Truncated parade, no cadaver Dans that I saw, mass confusion from CMs on the delayed 8:15 parade. It was fine from 10-midnight but that wasn’t enough time for all the experiences. I don’t know the refund etiquette.

Wasn't there but have been at several Halloween and Christmas parties where it rained and parts of the party did not happen or were delayed.
By purchasing the tickets you agree that its a possibility.
If the entire party was cancelled like in the case of a hurricane they will refund but not when they still have the party and it just happened to be raining.

Except that just a few parties ago it rained and there are quite a few reports (in the MNSSHP thread) of getting a $75 gc/voucher. OP, call GS and see if anything can be done.

If everyone gets a refund, then I also want a refund for all those rainy hours at Disney. What makes a party ticket more important than a day ticket, or an annual pass? Non-party folks get drenched too.
It has nothing to do with getting wet ... it is about that you did not get the specific things you paid for.

Like ... were parades cancelled or greatly reduced in size, were the fireworks impacted, were the Hocus Pocus shows cancelled, usually the candy is under cover now but was it impacted, did the special character meets get reduced as many are outside, were dance parties moved under cover or cancelled .... these are the extras that they paid for, not the rides or perfect weather.

Years ago I went to a party that was greatly impacted by torrential rain, so bad park was very empty before the fireworks finally went off delayed ... in a solid cloud too so they were interesting. They refunded anyone who asked.

I guess I'm too sensible to think I'd be entitled to a refund knowing it could rain the entire time and shows, fireworks, meet n greets etc could be impacted.
