Anyway...

Can't say that I've ever eaten bacon at WDW, except on a burger. I'll make a note to watch out for the bacon, but I'm not much of a breakfast person.

I cant seem to find any proper back bacon in disney or the surrounding area,, it just seems to be that horrible streaky stuff with more fat than meat,,

Do they have back bacon in the US? You can't beat a good old Scottish breakfast. I don't even know why I am commenting on this thread, I am pescetarian and don't eat bacon, except the quorn variety. I wish they did that in a Disney breakfast, they don't really have a good veg alternative for brekky.

It's for sure not the best bacon around, but to me it's about standard for buffets and fast service type places. As much as they go thru I'd actually rather have the pre-cooked and just warmed up stuff as opposed to them not getting it cooked all the way thru and having problems with undercooked food. I have to admit, I thought I'd seen about every topic talked about here, and I dont remember a bacon thread, so I do have to give a thumbs up for at least something new to talk about!

Eh? I ordered it extra at POP last year for breakfast and it was fine--bacon's bacon. I don't like mine crisp so it was perfect for me.

Besides, what bacon isn't greasy thanks to all the fat in it? Just blot any extra off with a napkin...

We were there a week and a half ago, and had no problem with the bacon. We asked for our bacon well-done at the sit down restaurants and had no problem. However, we are not bacon snobs.

Don't get me started on the coffee...or the "light" lemonade...eeeewwwww!!!

I love Disney bacon!

As a matter of fact, I really only eat the stuff when I'm on vacation (9 times out of 10, we're at WDW). Last week we were in the Bahamas and every single morning I had to have what I call my "Disney Breakfast"....which is a bagel with cream cheese and bacon piled on top. YUM! I am unable to eat eggs (specifically, the whites)...so I've had to get creative...and it's sooo yum!

One of my favorite WDW memories involves WDW bacon. DS loves bacon. He was about 8 and we were at a buffet breakfast at AK and he goes with his dad to the Buffet and comes back with about 15 slices one his place. I start to get on to him for getting so much and a waitress comes over and tells me that at WDW he can have all the bacon he wants!! She then leaves and returns with a huge plate of fresh hot bacon!!! DS's face was priceless!!!!!

We think the bacon is fine but I do not like mine very crisp!
