Warning for those playing fireworks who have Kodak software on your computer

I kept wondering why my scores were so low this afternoon in fireworks. Before Igot pretty consistent, I wouldn't have noticed, but now that I know pretty well how the timing works, something was just not working right.

Turns out that darn "Kodak Updater" junk was also running in the background (no warning -- had to go to Task Manager to check it) and was slowing the processing speed down just enough to cheat me out of 10,000 points per game.

Don't know if that little tip will help any of you or not, but now I'm checking pretty often. It doesn't want to stay off.

ug: This little dog doesn't look too happy, so I guess he's an appropriate choice here.

Firework Arrow Key Bug Solved!
I was having the worst time with the fireworks game because my arrow keys would not work when selecting the firework. Tonight though, I finally figured it out! I was using SBC Yahoo browser which has a panel on the left side for music stations. Even though the panel was closed, the arrow keys were active in this panel and would not work with the game. Now, I bring up Microsoft Internet Explorer (the blue "e") instead and everything works fine. I'm soooo excited!!! Now I can start working on that Fireworks Magic pin!

Oh! Thank you for letting me know this. I've had the same problem with not being able to change icons and I have sbc Yahoo as well. I'll use internet explorer from now on. My scores may not be stellar, but at least I'll have a chance to use the correct icon!

i wonder if this is the reason for my computer going soooooo slow. I should delete it and give it a try. (kodak not my powerbook, the only i will do to my computer is )

Wow, so its the Yahoo browser that is my problem. I'll use IE tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks WDWTigger72.
