"Warm" in Florida?

According to the bank's sign, it was 54 degrees today in Ft. Myers, FL in the afternoon. I was bundled up in a sweatshirt and jacket. I went to the video store and there were some customers there in shorts and a t-shirt! So were these people from up north? They must have thought it was a heat wave!

I just checked my thermometer and it's a whopping 4 degrees here right now. While I don't know about shorts and a t-shirt, I think 54 would feel pretty nice. Could you send some of that heat wave up this way ?

Barry, it was around 50 here today and will be about 28 tonight! If it's gonna be this cold - then let it snow - just a little!! Sweatshirts and jackets for us, too.

I was at Epcot this evening, and it was SOOO COLD!!!! No one was sitting early for Illuminations - at 8:40 there was barely a person waiting anywhere around the lake! The restaurants were pretty crowded - I guess everyone wanted to be inside!

All the marathoners we talked to were very concerned about the cold! Brrr!

50 degrees would be a heat wave here in Marylnd and I think I would bust out the shorts too. I went to the Discovery Body Challenge this morning and came directly home because of the cold. My DM tried to get me to hang with her and wanted to treat me to a manicure and eye brows arched and I gleefully turned her down. With the temp in the teens here all I wanted to do is be in the warmth of my home. Right now the thermometer is at a whopping 10 degrees. I look forward to the a mini heat wave.

It's 30 here in south Georgia. Way too cold to be out doing anything as far as I'm concerned. We didn't get out of the low 40's all day yesterday. I would freeze to death if I lived much farther up north!!

Man was it ever cold here yesterday! My area was around 46 for the high. Thank God the sun is out today so we should be around 60! Now if this wind would go away it would be a beautiful day!

We were at WDW from 12/29 to 1/2 and it was in the 80s each day--but it was in the 50s here which is warm. Today it is 35 here but yesterday it was 18!!!! Any temp. in Florida would be better. I am just wondering about my neighbor, who took her 3 kids down yesterday (returning Wed.) because she is running the 1/2 marathon today--I guess she would already be done. She didn't want rain, but Friday night she said she was starting to worry about cold.
