I can guarantee you that no reputable rescue will ever endorse "Professional Breeders." Because they are out for profit only, they breed indiscriminately and do not screen their puppy homes. As evidenced by the Mini Aussies on your forum - all you have to do is show up with cash on hand. Because they don't screen homes, buyers are impulsive and do not do their homework - one of the main reasons dogs are found in rescue. They also breed in too high of quantities to guarantee that they will take their puppies back at any time during their lifetime, thus creating another need for rescues to exist to clean up after themfor the benefit of pets and pet owners, my intentions are to join together several opposing groups that dont need to be opposing. there can be common ground
However, it is obvious by posts here, my work will be cut out for me.
If all breeders were responsible breeders, rescues would not be needed.
I notice you have basset and puggle puppies advertised on your forum.
Can you please share with the class what health screenings were done on the all 4 parents to insure that your puppies are the healthiest they can be genetically?
Does your contract stipulate that you will be responsible for the litters you put on the ground and will take a puppy back for any reason during the dog's lifetime if the puppy buyer can no longer keep it?
