Well done everyone!!

Well I am only down 1lb this week so far but slow and steady does it. could be all the partying I did this weekend or the big black forest cake I made for dh's 40th birthday last night. Still 1/2 a cake left in the fridge and I'm going to work hard to avoid it today!!

My goal is to lose 50 lbs by next year (2007 Disney Marathon time to be specific). That's a pound a week which should be doable.

I don't have a scale to weigh myself so I'll just keep trudging along and will judge by how my summer clothes fit come Sailing Time!

Hi everyone ! Good work!!!

Hey I can finally say I lost 2 pounds. WOW. Its finally starting to happen for me. I'm really excited now and have a good feeling about this. I CAN DO IT !
I guess the secret is to remain hopeful and stay focused. Reading all your progress reports are very encourging to me and I feel I am not battling the bulge alone. I now look foreward to getting on the treadmill and miss it if I do go a day without using it. I am slowly loosing my cravings for chocolate and found if I do get a craving a good cup of coffee (no surgar) solves the problem. will check in with you all soon. Good luck!

I am mortified! We go to DW in April and having quit smoking (finally and for good!) I've put on a "few" pounds. Went shopping the other day thinking I would at least attempt to try on some shorts and horror..... I've gone up not one size but two! And I can't even blame the extra padding on the cold weather because we haven't really had any! Anyway, count me in! I AM going to lose 15 pounds in two months, or die trying......

Today was official weigh-in day and I was down 1.6 lbs this week, raising the 4-week total to an even 11 lbs. However, I'm just packing to leave for a hockey tournament in Richmond Hill this weekend - if I can escape that unscathed it will be a minor miracle.

Two weeks I weighed myself here at home and lost three pounds, yeah!!!! Then again on monday, and only lost one pound. boooooo I guess thats good considering we had my sons birthday party and and I went out with the girls one night last week. I thought I could do the weight watchers thing on my own using my slider from the last time I joined, but I just need to have someone watching the scale with me I guess and have the accountablity. So, tomorrow its off to the officeal ww meeting and to officially join again!!! So, I have lost 4 pounds in two weeks.

I just joined TOPS in an effort to get in Tiggerific shape.


We had to cancel our Dec. trip on short notice and I had been avoiding this board. I am back and very teary reading alot that I have missed. Dis is a part of me and I realize now how important it is to keep thinking positive.

I will set a date for 2007 for my new Disney trip.

Good job to you all. I have been slacking off. Have been back to the gym a few times though! If I can just watch my eating!!

But I am in the same boat as alot of you Canadians. With hockey tournaments the next 2 weekends, the eating is bound to be bad!!

I bought a nice pair of pants about 2 weeks ago. They didn't have a bigger size, so I bought a pair that fits, but is a little snug. So I think if I lost 5 lbs, they would fit comfortably. So would like to be into them in 2 weeks or so!

Way to go you guys!!

Today was official weigh-in day and I was down another 2 this week to raise the total to 13.6 pounds in 5 weeks. That puts me at about 1/3 of the amount I'd like to lose. I still realize that at some point I'm going to hit the wall and go a couple of weeks without losing, but for now I'm revelling in my success.

I have to admit it's very hard to avoid saying "My, I've done well, a chocolate cake won't really do me any harm". I don't really want to undo several weeks worth of work in one gluttonous binge.

Congratulations everyone on your weight losses.

I seem to be sticking to about one pound loss a week. That's okay, suits me just fine, as long as the numbers keep going down, however slowly.

That's one whole hour of exercise a day.

HEY EVERYONE ! ! I've lost 10 wopping pounds and I'm in fat burning mode. HURRAY! At this rate I may even lose an extra few pounds before we leave. Let me know who still is pursueing there target weight and who may have fell off the wagon. Good luck to all, I have 5 pounds to lose in 22 days, wish me luck.

PS. I'm doing alot of walking and keeping to a reduced cal diet and not eating after 7 PM.

I was down a pound this week at my weigh-in on Monday, and I think I'm in good shape to be down at least another pound for the coming week's weigh in. I've been really careful this week...will keep my fingers crossed.

Stopped eating after 6:00 p.m. and if I do, it's a salad!

Won't know just how well I've done until I try my shorts on later today!
