Want to have Mickey Ears waiting in our room

Anyone know if I can call Customer Relations and ask to have mouse ears already waiting in our room upon check-in? I want to surprise my husband and my kids by having our ears already embroidered and waiting for us when we walk in the door!

The only way something will possibly be left in your room before you arrive is if you are staying CL at one of the deluxes. Otherwise, you can order them and they will deliver them after you check in.

KatMark is right. You can order them to be delivered to your room after you check in. But unless you are staying Club level at a Deluxe they won't be able to place them in your room beforehand.

Option #2 - there are some online gift basket companies. I don't know who is currently being recommended, but they will do personal shopping for you and deliver to the resorts front desk. www.memoriesbybetsy.com

Option #3 - is the least expensive. Call Disney merchandising 407-363-6200. There's no upcharge, you'll pay whatever the current price is. They can be mailed home to you, or delivered to your resorts gift shop for pick up.

In the past, we have been given the option of having them sent right to the gift shop at the resort. Maybe they've changed their policy, but it would be worth asking as this is the least expensive option.

If you're staying club level at a deluxe, you can arrange this with the IPO representative that's helping with your trip planning.

If not, you won't be able to have anything placed in your room before your arrival. This is because room assignments are not finalized until you're actually standing at the check-in desk.

Until you are standing at the desk checking in there is no way to know what your room number will be. They won't put them in the room ahead of time because that room may be assigned to someone else. Why not have them shipped to your home, put them in your suitcase, and use some excuse to slip back into the room and put them out?

Part of the fun is going and choosing the ears you want. Best that the Chapeau Shoppe on Main Street is your first visit. There are so many different ears to choose from as well as the colors for your names now.
