hmm strange he told me AT LEAST 3-1/2 but I will do your schedule as that is the hours he gave me last week. here is his message to me (I bolded the part that i am comparing to the bolded part in yours):
double booked you for the 09/16/07 events on Sunday. Do the first event from 10 am - 1:30 pm and the second event from 2 - 5:30 pm. Please do each for at least 3.5 hours and no less.
Thanks
Daniel

Ok now--that Daniel needs to get his story straight--doesn't he know that we are all comparing what he tolds each of us! And I am saying 'no fair' as he told me to do my 1st event at Meijer for 3 1/2 hours and the second (same event) at Walmart for 4 hours!! So it appears I HAVE to work longer than you guys!!!:confused3 Maybe it has something to do with Meijer vs. Walmart thing.

he didn't tell me anything for tomorrows meijers events... That E-mail I posted above was from last weeks double at two K-marts.

I have seen others on here post the 10-130 and 2-530 as their times so that is what I am going to follow i guess. however to play it safe, I will spend a bit more time at the 2nd event (perphaps to 6) as that will give me enough time to change and get my butt in the arena seat.

new toGA:

Job Name Campino Yogurt & Fruit Hard Candies scheduled for 10/13/2007

Event Times: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Wal Mart Supercenter

I tested out the mini crock pot today and it took 25-minutes just to get the soup warm. So I will either try to find a cheap smaller one or I'll just lug the big one with me.

There is a new Winn Dixie event for 10/20 Simply Smart Milk.

Can anyone explain the QMOS sheet to me? I tried searching the thread, but no success. My info pack only gives a definition! I'm used to just purchasing product to sample at KMart. Thanks for your patience!!

You will get the Qmos log from the LOD. I fill in the date, the DPCI (is target's upc) you will find it on the shelve tag and on your instructions, fill in the item description and the quanity. Lastly sign your name where it states MC rep. leave the completed log with LOD.

It isn't hard, when you need to complete it a sample of what the blank log is included in your instructions.

Good luck!

I am buying a few less... I did this event last weekend for 6 hours an NOBODY wanted the curves stuff anyways. I am keeping the extra product for the next event.

To help the Warm Delights last, don't dish them out.... make it and keep it in the microwave to stay warm, dish out as peole want them.

Buying less sounds like a plan.

Leaving Warm Delights in microwave - good idea. If was afraid they'd be devoured like "hot cakes".

I had to leave for a couple of hours and now there's only a couple of Campino Yogurts left - one at a store that I don't think is in a safe area and the other is a little too far for only 4 hours. Mabe that's all there was to begin with.

Thank you! My Target Granola/Cole water directions say 4 Green Tea and 4 Apricot Vanilla Granolas. Under supplied by it says Mark out of Stock QMOS. There is no sample sheet in the directions for the event. So basically, instead of purchasing certain items, am I just taking them off the shelf to sample and logging them on this QMOS sheet instead of using the MC card? I do see the DCPI #s on my instructions.

LParente Bingo you got it! The sample isn't one of the last pages? Strange it's with all of mine, so far. Let me know if you have more questions.

:thumbsup2 Good reminder. Funny, if I remember right, last time I did the full size Warm Delights, the samples didn't go as fast as I thought they would. I know its something I would love to try as a customer. Just can't figure people out sometimes.

3M Pet Care Dental Treats events went ok I guess. Gave out all 200 samples, but didn't sell any. Pet stuff is always something people take home to see if their pet likes it before buying it I guess.

I liked saying "puppy breath".

Ahhhh, well......I guess I had to be a detail person and specifically ask Daniel and if I specifically ask then I have to take the results I get!!!! No worries--I really can't complain about working 4 hours and getting paid for 5!!! :goodvibes

Splash, you might like saying "puppy breath" but I sure don't like smelling it! :scared1:

There are tons of new Super Target events popping up here!

Archer Farms Southwestern Dip and Market Pantry Steak Fries 10/13 11:00-4:00

Archer Farms Pesto Chicken Flatbread Pizza 10/13 11:00-4:00

Archer Farms Organic Chicken Sausage 10/13 11:00-4:00

Rosina Meatballs 10/14 2:50-6:50, 10/15 11:50-5:50, 10/18 1:00-7:00

Smucker's Uncrustables 10/14 9:50-1:50, 10/15 11:50-5:50, 10/20 9:50-1:50

Wow--I am suddenly not seeing Target/ST again. Not sure if they went fast or I;m not seeing them again. Princess Michelle- would you mind typing in 30144 for about 30 miles and see if you see anything?

I just packed for tomorrows WM Salute to Savings (Curves & Warm Delights). :scared1: Holy smokes that's alot of stuff to carry in. And it wasn't until last night that I even started thinking about a display for the display contest. And WHY did they give us a table card & not a table wrap? Where on earth is that going to go? lol

I'm second guessing myself & saying you might be right about a 2nd table. I'm bringing one, but honestly don't even now if I'll have room to set it up. I want to set up near cereal & near baking aisle, but I'm not familiar with an electrical outlet near there. When I plug in things, I'm usually down in the dairy area.

I know there's a plug near meat / fish.....but I passed setting up there once because of the fish smell.

Tomorrows going to be a LONG day....I can tell.

I've been very blessed in that I have only done SuperTargets and I am now spoiled. I find myself unbooking WalMart and kMart if it involves carrying a lot of stuff. :) While I would love to work every weekend at ST I can't find enough events to fill them but kindsa enjoy the timeoff every now and then. I keep reminding myself I DID start this as a part time fill in the blank type of job--not a fulltime committment. So for now--I am happy with just the St--although I could not pass up the Cottonelle stuff a pup at a Super WM---too cute!!! and nothing to carry but my kit. But it's just not worth it to me to haul a microwave, and etc etc etc to an event.

Belle, all I saw was a couple of WalMart Supercenter events in Hiram and Rockmart. :confused3

Stinks that those events aren't showing up for you, there are like 19 unbooked here right now. I've taken as many as I could. I have 8 events now for October and am thinking about asking if they can book me for a double on the 14th because there is another event that starts 2 hours after the one I'm doing in the morning.

I've been looking at the massive pile of boxes for tomorrow and OMG LOL The microwave, 2 boxes SPI sent, and 2 tables UGH! I think i'm going to do 2 tables and make them into basically and L shape. My microwave is a full regular size one, so i'll have to have a table for it with all that other stuff we're sampling too!

The table CARD is what finally put me over the edge & made me decide on a 2nd table. I was originally planning on displaying all product on the floor. i've done 3 products with a toaster oven before on 1 table, but we had a wrap & 2 products where display only - and only serving 1 product. I suppose the table card could be stuck to the front of the table instead of standing up.

L shape is what I'm hoping I have room to do once I find a place with a plug.

Ugh!!

I'm wondering if it will all even fit in 1 carriage to get it into the store. LOL

MOMto2inKC, FYI....the big box from SPI has a table in it too. I got rid of the outter box & just closed up the table kit with all the stuff in it. I tucked some in the microwave to get it to close better.

So I have 2 tables (with stuff inside), box of warm delights & microwave....and my fatigue mat to stand on.
