Okay, make sure you post how it goes! I'm curious since most events go very fast here and these have all just sat for 3 weeks now. The date is Aug 31st for all the ones here.

I will, I'm looking forward to it as I think it'll be fun to be able to walk around a bit and I'm sure people will love the samples.

I am nervous that I only have 2 more days for the kit to arrive though. It says to proceed with the product on my MC table and discuss selling points if it doesn't arrive, that would be a LONG day and without even a full-size sample for people to try (MC purchase can't exceed $1.50)

Our instructions tell us to take it to the store so the other person can do the event. However, since its not your fault, I wonder if you still need to do that.

The email my rep sent said to keep it in case one goes off date or trash it. It was rebooked by someone else less than an hour after I unbooked it. It's odd that it came here.

Was your event a Monday?

For the newbies here, for Monday events you can only activate your card on Monday morning, because on Sunday nights they clean the system of any activated cards.

I've forgotten this twice myself. And then I get to the checkout & it doesn't work. duh!

Checking back I think it was a Monday! I did not realize about the Sunday night thing...and I have been following this thread since its inception!!! Good to know or I guess actually good to be reminded!

I don't see anything within a 40 miles radius of zip code 24501. Jobs are "posted" and then booked. Once booked, you can't see what was previously available. You just never know when something will be available in your area.

WOW--talk about going fast. I booked one for my local ST at work and then I logged in when I got home from work and saw ANOTHER one at my local ST for the same date. I was debating which one I wanted to do (unbook and rebook or just stick with what I have). When I hit refresh the new one was gone. Snapped up in 30 seconds by someone else. And I thought the reason I was hired so quick was because I "might have" been in an under-represented area! Yikes!

Anyway--is it acceptable for me to book events that may be a little further away from my house, but then if something close pops up unbook and rebook for the ones closer to home? Does the company frown on this? (I'm not talking about unbooking within days of an event--I'm talking weeks away).

No kit yet, so I emailed today. There was some kind of glitch and now it won't arrive until Sat. so I asked if I could wait to go after it arrives. I can wait to start at 2 pm at the latest, and if not, have to proceed with no kit/brochures/samples. It can't be run next Sat. either.

I am picturing another Coppertone day without tea

Are you in the metro Atlanta area. Because jobs go here like hotcakes. I picked up a Tropicana event at ST so I hope it was not me!!

I did another Coppertone today. Just coppertone. It was the longest five hours of my life. I was supposed to give a hat if they purchased two. I changed it to one product purchase. I actually got rid of some of them then. Only one more Coppertone to go.....

I feel your 5 hour pain from my last Coppertone. That's cool about the hats, wish they'd have done that for me - did they send you a bunch?

Yes, metro Atlanta--Northwest of the city. I believe the jobs go like hotcakes!! I've seen it. I already booked one event for ST on the 18th, I was just considering switching events. But I am just glad I was able to get one close to home--regardless of the event

I was confused by Daniel's email. His email had events still available to book in Ohio, but he said "I also wanted to let you all know that I am the new Regional Manager for the state of Indiana".

I am West I guess of the city I go to Target only if they are not listing any Walmart jobs. Well it sounds as if I will "see" you on the 18th!
