I actually sold 4 of the Bath room floor thingy and one of the carpet roller thingy.

I didn't see ANY for the first 4 hours, then my parents came up to visit (yeah I was actually withing 5 mins of their house yesterday) and she bought 1 of the bathroom floor cleaners (I gave her the nice free rebate so she could get he money back) and funny thing as they were talking to me, I sold the other 4 items just becuase my parents were around looking interested (totally a show!)

Nothing attracts customers like customers :)

Just got one from Taylor, we have been reassigned aswell. Wow I guess there is a lot going on at SPI. Wonder what other changes are instore?

I'm one of those that was with All About Events and you're right, today there were events on the website and we've been switched to SPi. Like yours there were none close enough for me to book but hey at least there are some now and surely more to come!!! Our future is looking much brighter!!! :cool1:

Back from Scotch Brite. A slow Monday. No display. I called Vanessa, left a message saying I was buying chocolate & doing the event with no display. Call me back if that's a problem. She never called - and she NEVER calls -- and I NEVER reach her. :rolleyes:

None of my boxes had any rebate forms on them at this store. I sold 2 Carpet Touch-Up rollers ....because I had 2 coupons to give out. A 3rd lady was all ready to buy one, but I told her I was out of coupons, but she can print it at home. I thought selling 2 with no re-bates & just coupons was pretty good. Except I really wanted to ask the people WHY are buying this stupid thing? :goodvibes

One of the velcro strips from the side the Bathroom Floor Cleaner actually came off while I was changing cleaning pads. :rolleyes: For 3M, a company that makes adhesives, that really doesn't look very good. I tried sticking it back on, but really, it was like there was NO adhesive at all. :sad2: No one even showed interest in buying that thing, with a coupon or not.

Overall impression of anyone who stopped at all, & then stayed long enough to listen to much, was that the prices were too high --- even with coupons. Rebates definately would have helped some.

Yes, it was slow, people weren't interested in chocolate either, but I just keep smiling & thinking $14/hr doing this is WAY better than $17/hr selling insurance & being complained to all day. :teeth:

And I can't believe I only saw ONE person I knew. :thumbsup2 She was head teller at bank when I started there 20 yrs ago, & when she left 2 yrs later & I took her job. But since she lives in town, we've bumped into each other many times. She was so surprised I quit insurance agency...she said OMG, the customers must have been shocked to hear that. She knows I don't just leave unless practically forced out. Turns out she knows the boss from there a bit & agrees his a (insert several words of choice). We had a great chat catching up. :goodvibes

I have alot of chocolate left for tomorrows event at my local reset (upset) store. I wrote on report form that I was keeping it for tomorrows event so I wouldn't have to buy more.

AND WE HAVE WATER AT HOME AGAIN!!!! I NEED A SHOWER & TO WASH MY HAIR!!!! :crazy:

Just so you know (I really hope you don't get knocked down pay wise) I called my agency when there was no display because of the wording on the instructions, and she explicitly said to GO HOME!! To which I replied, but there is product here... To which she stated "Do not proceed with the event if there is no display period."

I hope they are not jerks about you wanting to do a good job for them!
 
Well, I told Vanessa to call me to stop me if she didn't want it run...and she didn't call. I said I don't really see what difference a display will make.

I was also going by the fact that they told BRivers (also SPI) that he could go ahead.

AND there is no question on form asking if there was a display?

LOL....so far I don't think anyone has had a display...so they would have had no events.

When I get to store tomorrow...... IF THERE IS PRODUCT, I plan on calling Vanessa AGAIN to ask/tell her same as today.

YUP, my problem if I don't get paid for not following directions. lol Too many years of having to make decisions on the job will do that to ya. I make a decision....if I'm wrong, lol, I'm wrong. ;)

Seriously, if tomorrow doesn't run, I really won't care. Heck I would have been happy with another $28 for 1 hr today too.

We'll see how it goes. ;)

Microcell, you were with a different agency right? Are you with the agency that docks people pay for swiping out even 1 minute early? Maybe they just all think differenty when it comes to logic. lol
 
SplshMtn99 Glad your water is back on. I don't think I would make a good pioneers wife. I like indoor plumbing and running water too much.

I try calling Vanessa around lunch time midwest time and I can sometimes get a hold of her. I think she is very much over worked maybe with the changes it will be easier to get a hold of her.
 
Oh, I forgot! One lady was lots of asking questions about the cleaning tools. Asked her if she would like to try it. She said.... "NO, EVERYONE'S BEEN TOUCHING THAT. I DON'T WANT THEIR GERMS!!" :rotfl: I told her I had some hand sanitizer in my purse if she wanted it. :teeth:

She stuck around & kept talking to me. What company do I work for? How much do I make? yada yada yada. At first with the product questions, I was thinking auditor? Then I wasn't sure? But the more she asked about my job, I didn't think so. I never gave a straight answer on any of the job questions...and downplayed all the work before & after events.

Then she stuck around asking me which blanket throw I liked better for her living room. :rolleyes:

:rotfl2: Me either. I was trying to remember camping & you only have 1 cup of water. What order do you brush your teeth & wash body parts in so you aren't washing face last......if ya know what I mean. :rotfl2:

Event did not list wearing a hat. HAT WENT ON BEFORE I WENT INTO STORE..AND DIDN'T COME OFF UNTIL I WAS IN THE CAR. :rotfl2:
 
In a pinch you could brush your teeth with juice then you would have a little more water.

These events bring out the fruit loops for sure. I don't think you lady was an auditor. At my Tassimo that guy knew who I worked for. I could figure out until I emailed Vanessa is he was an auditor or just a noisey weido.
 
I decided to try Vanessa this morning BEFORE heading to the store. Left message for her 10:15am. We'll see if she calls me back. I told her I was going to TRY to run todays event IF they had product, but due to reset, I really doubt they will have display OR be willing to spend any time looking for it.

I reminded her I ran yesterdays event without a display...and if I'm not going to be paid for 5 hrs for that one, then to PLEASE call me today to stop me from trying to run todays for 5 hrs.

Honestly, I'm not having high expectations for there being product from the looks of the dept a wk ago. But we'll see.

Wonder if she'll call me?

I am so glad you all are back up and running. I totally understand about keeping up with different agencies. My other company schedules you a month at a time I accidently told her a day that I later booked an event for Mass. Totally forgot about it, untill I was organizing our office and came across an unopened event box!! :crazy: Missed an event, because I was at a Mass Connection event. The scheduler called me in the middle of my MC demo, boy was I embarrased because I had to confess that I could not do it because I was already working.

So from now on I call her up about 5 days before an event to if i do not have anything booked with MC.
 
Back from my 3rd & final Scotch Brite event. I left 3 messages for Vanessa today to tell her to call me & stop me if she really didn't want event run without a display...and she never called. Also, nothing on home machine or in email. So, I assume they are ok with it then.

The store is looking WAY better. Reset almost done! :thumbsup2 But customers grumpier than ever about not finding stuff. Honestly, it was ALOT easier now that reset is completed, because the shelves aren't bare anymore & depts are back together...not split up. Spent day trying to make people happy by helping them find things & being extra cheery. :teeth:

I sold 3 of the pieces of junk...ummmm....I mean cleaning tools. One of each. They had all 3 at this store....WITH rebate forms. :thumbsup2

BUT again, issues with the velcro coming off the tools. :sad2: I accidentally dropped the floor tool while assembling, it came apart & the velcro dot fell off. :sad2: Got that back together & had to tape the velcro dot back on. :rolleyes: Then while demo'ing the tub &tile to someone & how the pads just stick by velcro, one of those dots came off. :rotfl2:

One lady bought 2 -- one carpet roller & one tub & tile. I actually confessed to her & showed her the dots coming off....and told her I was going to buy one with rebate...but will probably have to super glue to dots back on shortly.

How sad. I'm going to email 3M...not as a complaint...but for their info. I'm sure people will be having problems with these. Feel bad for anyone who shelled out $.

Well, trick or treat starts in 15 mins. Only allowed 5 -7 pm by town. See ya in a couple of hours. :)
 
I just realized I didn't get a paycheck yesterday or today. Thinking 10/13 & 10/15 pay should have arrived today-ish. (spi)

And since I STILL can't access ADP's website, I guess I'll have to email payroll?

Did anyone else get paid or not get paid?

I didn't get a check & it wasn't on ADP either... but since lately I'm more on an every two week schedule, I figured I'd wait to see if it shows up on ADP tomorrow before I email anyone...
