I'm free today to hang out on the boards and go Trick or Treating with my DS6. Yesterday I drove over half an hour to my Mary Kate Make-up event just to drive back home. No product available! At least I had more time to go shopping that way.
The only event I have left is on 11-2, the frozen chicken. I hope they have that in stock(same store).
Has everyone "seen" all the "celebs" on the boards, lately? I find it very interesting. Suppose any of them will find their way to this thread? It is pretty big and usually on the first page.
OK, back on topic, anyone watch the wine video clip on the ebookings site? I started to, but it was long and boring, and I figured, "Hey, I'm not getting paid for this!"

Hi Guys!
Does anyone know if those of us who were assigned to All About Events are all being reassigned to SPi or are there different agencies we may be assigned to? I got a email saying I would be reassigned but it didn't say to which agency or when.
I read ldb1030's post that said beginning tomorrow Oct. 30th she could log onto the website using the same user id and password and begin booking but is that for everyone who was with All About Events or just certain ones? Any info would be most appreciated. Thanks so much for your help!!!

I'm back from 3M. (we had 3.5" rain yesterday with 60mph winds...&today its still blowing with 50 mph gusts)

Got to store just in time. Line at service desk & lines at check-outs. I decide to go buy product FIRST so I can get thru check-out asap. Receipt said 11:04am. ok (While buying products, I look for display. None. BUT Swifter products were set up on 3 separate end caps. )

Then I find an asst mgr. She says her manager is ringing a register & I'll have to see him. I get in his line; explain; he says wait till i'm done here. ok,,,20 mins later, he's off register. He's SUPER busy but wants me to stick with him while we look. Follow him around another 20 mins while he's doing other stuff. Then I loose him....or he looses me. I decide to head to back room myself. Ask the 3 receiving guys about a display. They say no, no display, they laugh, & say "just need your signatures so you can go home now, right?"

So, I head back to service desk. Other manager signs me out & writes "display not found". Swipe out for 75 cents at 12:11pm.

I'M NEVER SURE ON THESE.... YOU STILL DO A SWIPE IN & SWIPE OUT?
Seems like such a waste to spend $24.08 on swipe in just to leave products at the store if you didn't even do the demo.

Oh well, I get to do it all again tomorrow & Tues.

But now, I'm off to my fun geomeet activity that I wanted to do in the first place today. Just hope I don't blow away.

Splsh.. I wish I'd done what you did... but I didn't... Got there, they had the Bathroom Floor Cleaner & the Roller thing, no Tub & Tile scrubbers, and NO DISPLAY.. oh well, I figure $70 is better than $28 so I set up anyway... I didn't even bother asking about the display - the management is clueless & I NEVER see set ups like that on the grocery end of the store, they always have things on end caps or shelved.

About 30 minutes into the tortoure I grabbed a $2 bag of Dum Dums & bought them with my own money. I figured a $2 investment would be better than spending the next 4.5 hrs trying to think of ways to end my misery with a cleaning device.. but that didn't do much good either some kids would grab the candy but the parents would just cruise by & not make eye contact.

It was bad... really really bad...

BTW I scoped the store out for the Breakfast Burritos I'm supposed to be doing there next Sunday, not even one package in the store

Yep this event was a total dud. No display, no tub and tile thingy, but do you think I drove 45 minutes for 28 dollars Nope set up bought Hershey kisses and passed out brochures for 5 hrs. The product was cheaply made and they sucked did not even try to pretend today. The candy did work except but walmart employees taking handfulls and then telling other employees to go get some. Well what a day, what a day!! So sorry I was just not going to go that far and not demo.

Christine, I had kind of planned on staying, but once I got there, I guess I just changed my mind. If I would have set up somewhere AWAY from Swifter end caps, anywhere I picked would have been crowded. They were also working in aisles. And I would have had to find the manager again to ask where he wanted me. lol I had already told him "we look for an hour & then I'm supposed to leave". He was nice about it, but they were sooooo busy...he was even ringing check-out. I just didn't want to bother him again. I think everyone stayed home yesterday due to weather, but ran out today instead even though we still had high winds. But today was SUNNY, no rain. Knowing I have this event 2 more times, made it easier to leave I guess. Besides, $28 for an hour is pretty easy to take.

Since I never even opened my table, I'm still all packed for tomorrow already. I just left it in the car tonight.

Oh yeah, they only had Carpet Roller thing & Bathroom Floor thing. No Tub & Tile.

Back from my 3M event.

I got there and there was no 4-way display either built or in the back of the store.

All the managers said it was stupid that I could not complete the Demo so I called SPI and let them know they are all giving me the go ahead. I was told that was fine. Since the Tub and Tile didn't exist there I bought 2 bags of Kisses (DARK CHOCOLATE BABY ) on my table for me... ergh the customers

I was passing out the online coupon brouchers and was told by a manager that WALMART no longer accepts ON-LINE printed out at home coupons.... So I started to rip off the coupon part and just give people the information parts.

So....did I do right by buying $24 in product to swipe in; THEN look for display for an hour; then swipe out 75 cents. ???

Or was I suppose to JUST swipe 75 cents after looking for an hour. Just one swipe doesn't sound right. Those directions always confuse me on that part.

From what I was told you DO NOT purchase anything and only do a swipe in. That is what the weekend team told me to do during that proplan event that didn't run.

They also said that we would still be paid for the entire time even if at the 45min mark they find the display

The roller box is a jumbo size starter kit... It had the same UPC as listed on the event instructions so I used it.

Since I had no coupons I just used the 100% rebate as a big selling point.

I keep thinking about today...and what a waste of $ for 3M if everyone followed instructions. All the $ for event supplies, shipping..... Only thing I can think of is that is we didn't have display with name in big letters everywhere, then they felt not worth running it? Still makes no sense though, we all run events in less ideal conditions than this.

I did write something about it at bottom of report form. Heck, I wasn't even sure what to check off as reason for not running event. I had product. I had kit. Weather wasn't issue. So, only other choice was manager refused entry. ???? I explained at the bottom that I followed the instructions even though I felt I could have done event since I had kit & product. Just no display. Stupid.

But I'm not upset at all about not being paid. I'm fine with $28 for my time on this one. Store was only 10 miles away. And I got to go have some fun after all.

I wonder who really thinks these events instructions thru at MC sometimes.

Tomorrow, I'll probably do what you did, B....and I'll try to call Vanessa. IF she answers or calls back. I'll just leave message saying I'm running event - I have product & kit. Call me back if you want to stop it. lol

Well i had my colage/palmolive event today but when i get to the store they cant find the kit, i am actually relieved due to i wanted to be home today but im thinking mc didnt send it cuz taht is like my 4 or 5 event there and theyve alwasys had the box in the office, today they must have had a box fior every other event, i swear there were like 3-4 boxes from MC ther ejust not mine...so i told them id be back in 2 weeks for Tums so if they saw that one to hang on to it! The store is only like 6 miles away so it wasnt too bad.

So true, I have missed two harvest carnivals working this weekend. DH just cant handle taking the kids out by himself SO, yes I guess I did waste a lot of precious time but as I keep saying that event was the farthest I have ever driven for MC.

I just got up to get ready for work....and WE DON'T HAVE ANY WATER!!! Neither do the neighbors. Ugh!!! I have bed head hair really bad. I can't go looking like this.

Oh, its gonna be a great day. Fedex rang bell EARLY...dropping of a 5th kit for 3M when I only had 3 events.

My dad called EARLY to say his printer died & what should he do. My reply, stop printing the internet. He prints EVERYTHING just in case the web page changes or disappears.

Heads Up!!! I am one of the people whose agency has been eliminated and transferred to Spi and after a week or two of nothing showing on ebooking there are events today!! Nothing that is very near to me so I can't take anything but it is promising that events do show up again!
