everyonne was spray happy today! 2 people sprayed their entire family with the Coppertone & bought nothing. I have no idea how many bottles there were, there was not any water diapers at my location & the people wanted more than one each. I chatted w/ some people from Promo Works & Sunflower. All in all a good day

My event went well. The Dora CDs were gone within the first hour and I gave out all of the Splashers, stickers, and most of the Coppertone Tatoos. Nobody was interested in the sunscreen though. I gave away a few brochures, and had two people test the stuff, other than that it was all about the freebies for the kiddos. Pretty fun, but not as busy as I had hoped. The last two hours dragged.

It is nearly impossible to track what was purchased as far as sunscreen goes. They had three displays thoughout the store and a ton in the aisle where I was set up. I'm just giving my best guess on the report.

Fun event, though. I loved seeing all the babies

Tomorrow is the chocolate. I hope they are expecting me.

Oh, what a day. I had 3 people sample the Coppertone spray. I couldn’t find any Pampers Splashers in the store. I didn’t count the product. I started to, but too much between the 3 displays. Put 500 on the report form for beginning inventory Who knows, there may have been more elsewhere. I just guessed 50 were sold, but that’s probably way high. Had a few Splashers left over. At break, I realized I was missing my coin purse that contained my MC Debit card, Drivers License, Visa card, and $5 cash and my eyeglass case. I checked with customer service (who didn‘t look - just said nothing had been turned in), the register I checked out at, and the manager and I searched the store with no luck. He was to notify Security. An hour later when a different person was at Customer Service, I checked again and she knew the stuff was put in the safe around 11:00 this morning. Apparently I left them on the first shelf of product I was trying to count. Someone turned them in to security and I was paged, but didn’t hear it. Just glad it was found and intact. Just before leaving, I see the fire truck and squad pull up. They go to the Service Desk. The first employee who didn’t look for my stuff had apparently fainted. They took her away on the stretcher sitting up.

While I was gone, I received the event box for Snyders snacks. Nice cloth tablecloth in the kit. After the event I think I’ll be able to cut out the Hanover print, hem it, and have a nice display cloth.

I do hope Hersheys goes better tomorrow though I’m not anticipating it since they didn’t have product last night.

Rainy and cold here so nobody wanted to try sunscreen. I did manage to give away most of my Splashers.

EMS was at my store too. No idea what happened but they were at one of the registers.

Forgot the good part. When I got home, there was a paycheck for 2 events. Guess that makes the day worth it.

Not a very busy day at this wal-mart. I still have lots of swim pants left!
Most people said their kids were too old, grown, potty trained etc...
I was giving away a few at a time to people in the end and still could not get rid of them!

Lots of people loved the spray coppertone! I know I sold a few off my table but as everyone else said, there were tons in the store. I'm so glad I did not print any waterbabies coupones......only ONE in the entire store that I could find. Tons of everything else! People wanted coupons for the other types as it's a bit expensive!

Pretty boring but I'll like it the day my check comes!! Wish the copperton events for June 2nd would go off date since I can't do it that day!

Oh, I forgot. They wouldn't let me set up near the front. Funny, since that is where a former manager dragged my table to at this store before. Go figure. So, I was in the HBA area next to a Coppertone display.

I too was giving away several Splashers at a time towards the end. And couldn't find any in the store. It was Huggies swim pants I saw yesterday by accident.

Received my Snyder's snack kit for Friday. And a paycheck.

OMG!!!! EMS was at my store too!!!! WTH was going on today at Walmarts?!

Anyway I set up in the H&B aisle.. mistake... all I got was old people on the way to the Garden Center... I barely gave away anything.. towards the end I was giving people 2 or 3 of the Splashers... next time I'm setting up near the front of the store.. Oh & there was no way I counted right.. I found two Coppertone locations before setting up & then on my way out I found a whole aisle full of suntan lotions!! I did have a few people spray the lotion on & quite a few purchases.

I'm glad I glanced at the Hersheys information today... I really thought it was a 12-4 event, but it's 11-4... I would have been an hour late!

Forgot my other exciting news. When I arrived, a Promoworks lady distributing magnets was set up next to the Coppertone display totally blocking access to it. I kindly asked her since I was doing Coppertone, could I have that spot and I’d help her move. She had very little on her table and we moved her about 15 feet. Hope she wasn’t insulted, but hey - I wanted to win that contest and my customers couldn’t get to the product.

I set up in the baby area by the Splashers. There wasn't a lot of traffic but our store had tons of demos today so space was at a premium.

Dannon yogurt went so-so. Good thing I was having hot flashes most of the day the stuck me back by the coolers. I almost completely sold out of the yogurt only 2 left, but most people turned up their noses.

I hope the Diet Pepsi goes better tomorrow. Oh well I have to keep remembering it's all for the $$.

I set up near the kids section, pretty close to food so that was the best traffic I could get anyway!
Realized right away I would NOT be setting up near coppertone which is where I wanted to be and would you like to know why?? They had it all near the ceiling fans!!!! Not sure what was up with that. When people asked where it was, I said "look up towards the ceiling fans and you can't miss it"!

So am I the only one who did the Archer Farms beef Kabobs with Curried Mango sauce today??

The store's george Foreman grill wasn't working right, so I had to remove the kabobs from the skewers, and cook the pieces in the grill. Gave up on that and used an electric skillet. Of course, that meant I had twice the clean-up to do afterwards, plus there was oil splattered everywhere. I even had to clean the plastic Target signs. It was a mess!!! I didn't get out of there until 4:50.
It was a slow day, only gave out about 85 samples. I'm glad because this one was a lot of work. I have to remember not to take a cooking job again for a while.
(You can't tell I was frustrated today, can you?!)

My son did the kabobs today, He sold 7 total. His target LOD wrote on his paper, Good as always.... I guess she likes him, I try and book him at the same Target... But he has done 2 Wal Marts.... I am so proud of him... He is doing great!!!
I have been taking the weekends off and only working during the week... So he gets all my Tagets...
Anyway, I will being doing a coppertone on Thursday... Hope I can sell 45 of them!!!! Good Luck to all!!!!

I also did the Kabobs with curried mango sauce today! It was messy. The three kabobs that came in the pack just barely fit on the foreman grill I had. I felt smokey and stinky by the time I got home. I used foil on my grill and it was still a pain to clean up before I left. Tomorrow I am doing tropicana squeeze and quaker rice snacks that should be easier and less messy. It was pretty busy though I did seven packages of kabobs it seemed like the day went buy fairly quick.
