TMT has events for Super Targets in November, I'm nicely booked thru 11-25 and then nothing until the Mineral Sheers event at Ulta 12/9.
I was hoping to have events thru the end of December then apply for a "real" job in January. Hard to give up the money -- paid a lot less as a preschool teacher.

I wish we had a ST around here. Only a couple of regular Targets, though. They are in the process of building a new Target close to me - here's hoping it's a ST.

I'll just keep hoping that things pick up for my area after 10/31.

Does anyone else get like a "shoppers high" when you book an event? You know, like, a hunt. You got one before it sold out kind of thing? The feel like you won the ebay auction? Only cool thing, it doesn't cost you any $.

I actually found myself EARLY this morning while unable to sleep, trying to figure out how I could do 3 off date events, on 3 consecutive days, at a store 1.5 hrs from home. Lets see, I could stay at my parents, but that's 50 mins to the store. OMG, I even tried finding a hotel with super cheap military rate. Thankfully, no luck, & I came to my senses. This store in Plymouth, MA always has several events & seems to go mostly unbooked. I'm dying to know why. It just kills me that I can't "snap 'em up".

So, should I be committed yet?

Hmmmmm, do I know any DISers that I would like to meet that live near Plymouth? Maybe I could stay at their house for a couple of bucks?

I'm in the Kansas City area. I am a stay at home mom so I am doing this to supplement the income my other half recieves. It's good to know that I am not the only one that this process has taken so long for!

No Kimberly Clark here. But events have been added at stores NOT near me - mostly foods at SuperWalmarts. I can't WAIT for them to finish building 2 near me. I hope I get alot more events then.

Only thing I booked early am was the pear event at the SuperWalmart I've been going to which is 45 mins away. Its my closest SuperWM - for now.

I know this has been hard for you I am hoping that after the placement and SPI get your stuff straight you will pick up work. This is why I do at least a couple events a month with my other demo companies, so that in the lean times with Mass I still have something!!

The Pear & an Olive Oil one are coming up but at a Super WM 1.5 hours away... no others, unless someone got them already - which is a possiblity since the Ulta event is gone now...

Yes I get a rush, when I see a new event I can't get to my calendar quick enough to see if I'm available!!

FedEx just dropped off 3 MORE kits for 3M Scotch Brite demos. Now I have 4 kits for 3 events. I guess when I unbooked one to change it to a different day & swap with another store, it triggered another kit. Oops. Too bad nothing "good" in the kit though.

I cleaned a shelf off in our downstairs closet. I put the microwave & my box of supplies there. It gives me a place to pack from now. And I'm trying to open kits & dispose of cardboard as soon as they come in. But seems there are always boxes that need to go to the dumpster. Thank goodness no more extra tables with these last 5 deliveries. I've already got 5 tables stashed in the attic....and I can't tell ya how many I've thrown out.

Really a waste of cardboard & $$ & shipping.

Only thing I can think of to do with extra tables is: extra table space for holiday foods or tables to display yard sale stuff.

I'm off to do my last Petco event, kind of sad since it's been my Saturday home for 10 weeks now and I'll miss all my animal buddies! But I'll be switching gears to Wine Tasting... guess I'll be dealing with a different kind of animal!!!

Got my first "dry" wine event for december Cabernet Sauvignon Custom Label.

I have eight events booked between now and Dec 8th. Only 1 more and get the letter of recomendation and the $25 gift card
