Well,

Got the DVD from splash- watched that last night and am much more confident than I was before - WHY they are no longer sending it out is beyond me!

The odd natures valley one came up for the 24th, but thats a Thursday- NOTHING else has been added within a 50mile radius of me since the day I booked all of my May events- nothing after 6/2 in any of the towns I've checked.

No coppertone boxes from my fed ex guy yesterday. Hopefully will be here today when I get home or I'll have to email Daniel.

Stopping at the Dollar Tree today to pick up the gloves and table cloth....does it have to be white? Was thinking springy color would be better- but not if it has to be white..

Picked up a couple white polo shirts yesterday, then realized I'd read here somewhere they had to be long sleeve- I'll die in Walmart with a long sleeve on- thats a promise.....better go double check my kit- but on the dvd, some of them had short sleeves on- oh well, doesnt matter saturday- should have a coppertone shirt right?

Okay off to a field trip with the DD9- Green up Day at a local deaf school- should be fun!

I dont think they HAVE to be long sleeve, i wear a short sleeved, I think it just has to be white or black.
Well to correct myself I went to look at my book and low and behold yeap it does say long sleeve. Ive never had a problem but now that I am looking at buying a couple of more so i dont have to run homw Sat and wash for Sun, myabe ill look for long sleeve, at least one. Theres is no way in the heat of Florda i will be wearing anything long sleeved!...lol I aleardy break out a sweat in the short one..lol

mudnuri - The FAQ on MC’s website doesn’t state sleeve length, but like dodukes mentioned, their booklet does. When I’m going to be in the freezer or refrigerated section of the store, I wear long sleeves otherwise, I’ll wear short sleeves if the weather outside is warm and I think I'll be comfortable in short sleeves in the store.

MaMa3Princess - That milk crate for the Pampers sounds like a good idea. That box is bulky and my crate has built in handles. I could then set the large “Splash It UP in the Sun” Splashers poster on top of it. Sounds like a plan.

I am in NY & there seem to be more SPi events than TMT events. Does anyone else notice this in their area?

I emailed Daniel for the 1st time ever 2 days ago & have not heard from him, is this common? I was resonding to his email that stated-

If you do not see anything in your surrounding area please disregard this email. If you can do any of these or even on off dates, please book them or let me
know. Additional pay maybe available.

I really want to do some events off date & didn't know if I should just book the events & email him to change the dates. What would you have done?

kpauley - thanks for the advice. My kit came in last night. I think it should go OK, especially with the stuff to hand out for kids.

mudnuri - I purchased my short sleeve polo shirt and then I read the book that said long sleeve. I paniced and checked out the website & it doesn't give a sleeve length. So, I'm just going with the short sleeve until I hear different.

I'm glad someone asked about what to do with all those splashers. The crate is a wonderful idea (now I just have to find mine).

I have one more question, do we throw out all the table signage items when we are done? For future reference, what if you are doing 2 demos of the same product (different dates/stores)..do they send you two separate complete kits or do you reuse the signage?

My question is for those of you working for SPI, is Mary Ann Watson a legitimate person from SPI?

Mary Ann Watson sent me my first email about applying to SPi, then sent me the second one to tell me they were working on transferring my paperwork, and that a welcome packet would be mailed to me when the transfer was completed. So, from my experience, I would say she is legit.

About 2 mnths ago I decided I needed more shirts. I die in my long sleeve one & it just doesn't flatter my body type. Men's style, sleeves too long & tucked in. YUCK! I also bought a short sleeve one last summer & wore it a few times, but also didn't love it.

At Walmart, I found some nice 3/4 length sleeves, with collar, snaps instead of buttons, and that fabric that looks all wrinkled up. No more ironing out wrinkles. I don't tuck them in. More figure flattering. White is a bit see thru, but fine once apron is on. I LOVE THEM! $11.88 I bought 2 more, & some other colors.

I keep mine if I have a second demo in case I don't get the 2nd kit. For Target and Kmart, the kits get mailed to the store, and there are times when the kit can't be located. Especially when I work those stores, I'll keep the signs until I know I have another kit. Otherwise I throw away the signs.

I'm trying to print my store report form. For some reason it's in a Word Document and I don't have microsoft word!!!!
It is normally adobe! Any ideas on what I can do?? I emailed Vanessa, guess she's my new person, used to have Cassie, but no answer yet!

The Store Report Form requires Microsoft Word or the free Word Viewer. There is a link at the bottom of "My Events" page to download the Word Viewer.

I tell you I just got done opening them and WOW i feel like **** christmas!!...LOL there was so much stuff in there, im thinking I may take 2 tables with me so that I can spread the stuff everywhere on the main table and have the second table for some supplies samples the big triangle thing. Kinda like i did wiht the tassimo event, two tables makes it easier!!...waddayathink?

I've never, ever had a problem before. It keeps coming up Microsoft Word, which I'm not going to pay for, even when I download the "free word viewer"

Oh well, I'll just have to go by my office tomorrow (my day off) and print it then.
