Over 5000 posts and I don't know where to begin. I tried reading through the thread, but this is really not posible!

Any hints as to what posts give me the information I need to get started? What companies are available for booking with? Which ones are best to work for? How do I sign up? I am sure all this info is here in the thread, but how do I find it all without spending two weeks reading non-stop?

I had some teenagers that pulled that stuff with me. I was across from the floor cooler where they had all the pillsbury stuff at and I was showing a lady where to pick up some and really quickly and they did the same thing but they took the whole bun without any cinnamons They too thought it was hillarious and when I turned around with my evil eye they were like "Umm excuse me can we have some frosting" I point blank said NO!! If you could not wait until I set the samples out properly take it the way you have it.

Well I have this event 3 more times!

To MOQu, the first 75-100 pages of this thread is where basically most of us started out. The last pages are just us sharing our experiences and chatting. This question gets asked every other week and most of us are not going to stop and answer this question over and over again especially when clear and concise details are at the beginning of the thread. Every question and most every situation has been posted at the beginning of this thread. So while you dont have to read all 5,000 post it would be a good idea to read maybe the first 500 !

We all work for Mass connections depending on your state there is separate agencies that they assign you to. I do recommend at least reading the first few 100 pages,yes I know lots to read. Events(demos) vary from frequency to subject. Right now we seem to be in a dry period, not much happening.

Garnier Nutritioniste is coming up at Walmart for 5/26.

Just booked that! Not thrilled about working memorial weekend BUT Garnier was a company that paid extra last time I did them so I won't complain.........need to check and see if this is an extra pay one or not!? Hope so!

Finally coming out of Lurkdom. You have all been so helpful. If it weren't for you, I would not have discovered this job. I am loving it. I did read the entire thread before I signed on - it takes a while, but is really worth it, and possible.

In regards to the cinnamon roll frosting - I figured I would have a huge mess. I took some small ziploc baggies, emptied the container of frosting into it, cut a hole in the corner, and squeezed a little on each roll. I did the frosting after I cut the rolls in quarters and put them on the napkins. Hope this helps some others who also have off dates.

How'd the event go for you guys??? Were you guys just giving samples to african american women? Thats what i did unless someone else asked. It was SLOOOWWW and i only got half of my kit. I just got home, it really felt like the longest 4 hours ever!! and i was jonesing for little ceasers pizza too as i could smell it all over the store...lol

I took some small ziploc baggies, emptied the container of frosting into it, cut a hole in the corner, and squeezed a little on each roll. I did the frosting after I cut the rolls in quarters and put them on the napkins. Hope this helps some others who also have off dates.

I'll have to try the baggy idea for my offdate. That sounds much easier and cleaner! Thanks!

I'm a pasty white girl too! Everyone was really nice to me though but I didn't give out that many samples. Not too many people were interested and the ones who did take the samples told me they don't normally use Optimum

I went and got a slice of LC pizza and Pepsi when I left

I did receive my first paycheck today. I think I remember reading that taxes weren't taken out of some people's checks, is that right? They were taken out mine.

THanks so much for that awesome tip Disnee Mommee and yes I agree about Splash she is so wonderful. Thanks for the sign Splash eventhough it has frosting all over it I am going to ride the Splash for her in 22 days !!!

Well I did ok on my cinnamon rolls... Only sold 7..... Had a few buy the other brand because they were cheaper, I had one pregnant lady take 4 pieces because she was hungry and then buy the other brand of rolls......
It was a bit messy.... noticed my apron collected a lot of dust from the icing..
Had this weekend off..... I'm in TN visiting family....Had to make myself take the time off... Will be working Friday and Saturday... Kinda nice having a weekend off.... What's everyone doing tomorrow?>???

I'll tell you, at first I thought "omg what if somebody tells me something cuz i ma only apssing it out to AA women"(im a pasty white girl too.lol ) but then i was like well its obvious its a product for that target market, so i should be ok.

Oh How funny, I had nobody do that but I did have 3 women that said they used the product.


In any case, I find it hilarious that some people dont know what the hell they are getting for free they just want a free sample. I had an entire family, it was an older mom and her daughter (both older imagine 60's and 40's) and then the mom asks for one, so i give it to her (like i said i was only giving if i was asked for if you are not the target) so then she tells her daughter who comes over, who then tells her husband who comes over as well. Its funny cuz you can see in their faces they hd no idea what the heck it was for. ...To be honest I dont have a clue what the product is technically for anyway except for breakage but in any case i thought it was funny. Other than that the event went well and i actaully had one lady who was glad i had the coupons and bought some, i think she was my only sale. Other than that it was a no go, i guess i know why now (thanks mamaprinces for telling us the product is crap!!!..lol)

And...awww, thanks. I've been a trainer every where I've ever worked. Does it show? Sorry, its a bad habit I have of explaining things in detail. (Blame it on my dad....the mechanical & electrical engineer.)

No events for me this weekend. Good thing too. My dad was diagnosed 2 wks ago with prostate cancer. And this past Monday, during a routine colonoscopy, they found colon cancer. Wed he had part of his colon removed. We (I) drove 2 hrs to visit him in hosp today. Stayed for 3 hrs. And drove 2 hrs back home. I'm tired. We'll be making the same trip next weekend. Hoping he'll be released before Easter. Once he heals from this surgery, they'll tackle the prostate cancer in about 3 mths. He's 75 by the way. And was very active....hoping he still is. Its been a week since he's had any food. He looked weak.
