Hello all! Just posting an official October check in thread, where we can share our excitement and plans for trips during the ultimate month of spooky season!

This thread can be used to share excitement about planned trips, share information about special events and seasonal food, entertainment offerings and even merch!

I'll try to keep the posts below updated with relevant information, but please post if you find anything I don't have listed so I can add it.

I’m headed to the park for a solo trip October 19th and staying a bit south this time at the Doubletree - lots of shuttle time for me. I am most excited for my first Oogie Boogie Bash!

Halloween Screams: Nightly. Projections expected Monday-Thursday, and Fireworks expected Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Fantasmic!: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

World of Color: Nightly showings except on OBB dates.

October 1-6! So excited for this trip. Going with other families of my daughter's best friends. We're doing OBB one night and trying out the new Storytellers buffet.

October 19 - 22 - Desert Inn & Suites

We are celebrating our family milestone birthdays! My son turns 21 in September, my husband turns 50 in October, and I turn 50 in November! We are taking my son's girlfriend, so this is our first trip with her! She's only been once on a school trip, and my son's been to Disneyland a lot, so he's excited to share it with her. They already made their foodie guide list.

We are doing the Oogie Boogie Bash on Sunday 10/19! This is our third OBB and we went once to the Halloween Party at Disneyland in 2016.

We will be there on the 8th (OBB) and 9th (DL) before heading to Aulani. It will be exactly 10 years since the last time we went to DL.

Oct. 30-Nov. 2 at GCH. So straddling the removal of Halloween, which should be interesting.

I love character meals on our arrival night! That followed by World of Disney really sets the tone of the trip.

Woohoo! So many folks going to OBB! Anyone planning an elaborate costume?

Also! Good news for Fantasmic! fans! Disney added shows for the first Friday and Saturday now (were not showing at the 60 day mark) so it looks like the show should hopefully be available for those days of the week for the rest of the month.



Now. If folks could keep their fingers crossed that Disney adds Sundays back in I would be grateful!

We will be there the last week of October! We have been to OBB twice before but in September of previous years, afraid the OBB and Halloween merch may sell out really hoping to snag an OBB spirit jersey as well as the Disneyland Villains spirit jersey !

Definitely don't feel self conscious but I know it's hard. I travel a lot for work by myself and I remember how weird it was in the beginning to eat alone in restaurants. Now I'm just used to it. Enjoy your time!

Will be there October 6th-11th with OBB on the 9th! Staying at VDH. Haven't been to DL/DCA in 20 years and is my other half's first visit to Southern California

Our family will be in the parks 10/10-10/12. First time visiting since 2012 (when my husband proposed). So excited to bring our 10 yr old for his first visit!

Solo trip Oct 18 – 20, really just there for OBB! I’m taking the Pacific Surfliner up from San Diego after a Pacific Coastal cruise. Looking forward to dining reservations opening up for my dates! Halloweentime at DLR is my Christmas. I truly love it.
