So, about us, we are a couple with no kids, visiting friends in Kissimmee in November (our friends LOVE WDW, one of them works at DAK :) ). We will be there 11/9 - 11/17. I've made the following ADR's, but know that these will probably be changed in the coming months. We will probably also have a rest day somewhere in the middle of our trip...though even if we canel everything else, we are KEEPING our Le Cellier ADR :). But, the rest day could change things as well. We won't be on a Dining Plan (since we don't stay onsite), so we usually only have 3-4 TS meals when we go (since paying OOP can be so expensive).

We haven't been to any of these restaurants yet. Thoughts? (I'm SO excited :woohoo:!! I love make ADR's...and doing it online is so easy! :) )

Wednesday 11/9 - Lunch @ Liberty Tree Tavern (2:15pm)
Thursday 11/10 - Breakfast @ Chef Mickeys (10:45am), Dinner (with our friends and their little girl) @ La Hacienda De San Angel (6:15pm)
Friday 11/11 - Lunch @ Kona Cafe (2:15pm)
Saturday 11/12 - Lunch @ Yak & Yeti (3:00pm)
Sunday 11/13 - Lunch @ Le Cellier (2:15pm)
Monday 11/14 - Breakfast @ Boma (10:50am), Dinner @ The Wave (6:55pm)
Tuesday 11/15 - Breakfast @ Tusker House (10:15am)
Wednesday 11/16 - Dinner (with our friends) @ Via Napoli (7:00pm)

If you are only going to have 3 or 4 sit down OOP meals why would you book ADR's for 8 sit down meals? If you are only going to use 3 of them you make have booked 4 or 5 too many.

Yes, I understand that. Thanks for pointing it out. The reason I made so many is so that as we get closer to our trip (and talk to our friends who we are staying with) we can cancel the ones that we aren't going to go to.

i have been to most of these places,
the only place i wouldnt suggest is liberty tree tavern. to me its just stouffers frozen meal put on a plate. on the flip side, mk is hard for sit down places ( CRT can be expensive, and CP is just a buffet).

the rest of the times and locations look great

They are going during lunch, and LTT has a completely different menu then.

Good choices!

Wednesday 11/9 - Lunch @ Liberty Tree Tavern (2:15pm)

You say that you arrive on this day. Will you be getting to town early enough for this one? Or will you feel rushed?

Look good.

What does everyone think of mine?

8/23 (Arrival Day) - Cape May 6:15 (Dinner)
8/24 - Cape May 10:00 (Breakfast), Cape May 6:30 (Dinner)
8/25 - Cape May 10:00 (Breakfast), Cape May 6:30 (Dinner)
8/26 - Cape May 10:00 (Breakfast), Cape May 6:30 (Dinner)
8/27 - Cape May 10:00 (Breakfast), Cape May 6:30 (Dinner)
8/28 - Cape May 10:00 (Breakfast), Cape May 6:30 (Dinner)
8/29 (Departure Day) - Cape May 10:00 (Breakfast)

These are legit ADR's. Where do you think my wife likes to dine most?

Wednesday 11/9 - Lunch @ Liberty Tree Tavern (2:15pm)

They do a decent lunch there. I think and the Plaza are the best places for lunch inside the Magic Kingdom. You couldn't really do better if you want to stay in the park. Places at nearby resorts are better, though. In particular, I love lunch at the Grand Floridian Café, which is less crowded, has a better menu and is about the same price.

Thursday 11/10 - Breakfast @ Chef Mickeys (10:45am)
I can't comment since I don't do character meals or buffets. My understanding is that this isn't the best one, but many people seem to like the experience anyway.

Dinner (with our friends and their little girl) @ La Hacienda De San Angel (6:15pm)
I'm looking forward to trying La Hacienda on our next trip!

Friday 11/11 - Lunch @ Kona Cafe (2:15pm)
I like Kona, but I prefer it at dinnertime, when the sushi bar is open.

Saturday 11/12 - Lunch @ Yak & Yeti (3:00pm)
We had lunch there on a recent visit and enjoyed it. We split a few appetizers rather than ordering entrées and liked everything we had. We thought it was an excellent way to get off our feet and out of the heat for a while, too. The restaurant is pretty cool (in both senses of the word).

Sunday 11/13 - Lunch @ Le Cellier (2:15pm)
Well, you know for sure you're keeping this, so I'll just say that I really enjoyed my salmon sandwich and that our server was a sweetie pie. If you have room for dessert, the maple crème brûlée is one of my favorites.

Monday 11/14 - Breakfast @ Boma (10:50am)
Again, I know nothing of buffets, but this one interests me more than any of the others.

Dinner @ The Wave (6:55pm)
I think that the Wave is pretty charmless. People seem to love the food there, so we're giving it another try on our next visit. I didn't think much of it the last time we were there.

Tuesday 11/15 - Breakfast @ Tusker House (10:15am)
Is this the one that does breakfast with Donald? That seems cute.

Wednesday 11/16 - Dinner (with our friends) @ Via Napoli (7:00pm)
I haven't been to Via Napoli, but I have been to Naples, its sister restaurant in Disneyland. Judging by what I've seen, it seems like a good place to have a fun dinner with friends. I'm not very interested in going for the food itself, though. For a similar atmosphere and a different cuisine, I'd probably return to Kouzzina at the Boardwalk before I made a reservation at Via Napoli.

LTT (lunch) was one of our surprise favorites last trip. We didn't have an ADR, walked right in and it was one of the better meals we had. My dh got some pot roast and he was literally drooling the whole time he ate it!

LOVE Boma and Tusker house.

I think you made good choices!

You say that you arrive on this day. Will you be getting to town early enough for this one? Or will you feel rushed?

We are taking a red-eye the night before, arriving in Orlando around 7:00am. We will probably go to our friends house and take a nap and then head to MK around noon-ish :). This is still one of the ADR's that is very much up in the air depending on our energy level.....we may cancel this one as we get closer and finalize everything. Thanks for your input, though! :)

Just a heads up that your Sunday at LC is the last day of F&W and I'm sure Epcot will be busy that day.

My thoughts on your ADR's is that you have a lot of lunch reservations and they could be difficult to make (obviously depending on what you do at the parks), but ones like Kona, I wouldn't want to try to go there in the middle of the day....leaving the park and coming back.

I agree about getting the ADR's you might want now and cancel later after you finalize plans. While some have an opinion that you are holding these reservations unfairly, the truth is you don't know what your final plans will be like and as long as you cancel, someone can book later on. It is differnt if you booked reservations that you had no intention of using or didn't cancel them.

Thanks, yes we are aware of that. I am going to keep trying to find a lunch Le Cellier ADR on another day of our trip.....but I was just so amazed to be able to book this reservation that we will fight the crowds if we have to :) We've never been and want to try it....lunch seems more feasible (for our wallet) than dinner.

I agree with others that LTT for lunch is good, but my son and I found dinner to be horrible. My husband enjoyed the dinner though. Chef Mickey's was my least favorite character meal but was my 3 year old son's favorite. We adore the noodles at the Yak and Yeti. Boma has the best breakfast buffet on property. Tusker House is similar to Boma other than the fact it has characters. If you are going to narrow down your choices, I would go with one or the other, not both.

Interesting that Chef Mickey's isn't getting the rave reviews I was expecting :) We may have to re-evaluate that ADR....

Also good to know that Boma and Tusker house are similar. We have been to Tusker House for lunch, but not breakfast. Is Boma lunch similar to TH lunch?

Thanks everyone!
