Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

Nothing yesterday, But I got in W6D2 today in between Fay rainbands, about 2.4 miles in 33 minutes. At one point I was running into the wind and this slowed me down a bit! Weather isn't too bad here, but it is really bad just a couple counties north of us!

Hopefully a walk tomorrow and W6D3 on Sunday. That will be a 25 minute run!

I ran 5.25 miles today- .025 more than i had meant to! It wasn't a great run as i think i started too fast but got thru it in 45 mins. 10 more mins of stretching too.

yesterday 7 mile bike ride 38 minutes
today 6.20 mile run 58 minutes

Hello Warriors...
Was not able to do my 4 miles do to Fay dropping water back my way.
So got up this morning and made them up.

Time was 58min 42sec. Add 5 min for warmup/down.

WIll do 6 or so miles tomorrow, 4 miles on Tuesday and maybe 4 miles on Wed. I leave for CA on Thursday afternoon.
Then double miles and time for the DL 1/2!!!

Tropical Storm Fay finally let me out of the house this afternoon.

A really slow, sloggy, crappy 5 miles in 51:30, followed by a .75 walk in 15.

ugh.

Do not know why I feel so slow & tired lately. :confused3 :confused3 :confused3
 
Hey Everyone: I had a good week of running.

25.66 miles for the week in 3:36:48.
 
My Last LW of tapering befoe DL 1/2. 6 miles in 1hour 26min 35sec.

Next week it's double for the warriors after I get done with the DL 1/2.

Yay the DL 1/2's on it's way. Oh you guys are going to have such a great time. I've just discovered that if i can have time off uni next march i'll be coming to the princess and mum will walk 5km with me!!! How exciting.

However, need to kick my training right up the behind. Did 3.5miles today and struggled for 29mins. Followed by 20mins stretching. Think i'm just tired but we'll see and tomorrow i'll go swimming for a change.
 
Happy Sunday Warriors!!!

Today I managed a 26.7 mile bike ride in 1:33. I did the "Tri" distance (24.8) in 1:24:30 And coasted/cooled down the rest of the way.

I then pulled off a 3.1 mile (5k) run in 35:24. Not pretty, but considering I was seriously contemplating turning around about 2 mins after I started, I'll take it.

TS Fay is gone. It is now officially hot & humid again................................


Hmmmmmm. Maybe if I did this at 8 a.m. instead of 2 pm........................
 
Good evening Warriors! I'm back from vacation and ready to get back in the groove again. School starts tomorrow and it is good for me to get into a routine. Today I did 4 miles in 63:05 minutes.

My totals for last week were 4.53 miles 90 minutes. Better than nothing I guess!

To those going to DL, have a blast and bring home the bling.
 
Ok...so I know it's not a fast time for most of you quick Warriors, but I just completed my fastest 5k ever! 37:27! I was so excited! I actually thought I was having an off night, it was kind of hot out still and I just wasn't feeling it. That is until I noticed I was closing in on 3 miles in record time for me! It just made my night! Only 5 more sleeps until I'm off to DL! :woohoo: Meet you there Tracy!

Went for a swim today as promised. Did 80 lengths totalling 1.24 miles in 50 mins. Will do 20 mins stretching later too
 
Hey Warriors,

Everyone has been busy getting in their miles, minutes!

Saturday 8/23 3.4 miles walking, 75 minutes
Today was 1.25 miles pushing/pulling DD in her new wagon and I also did 75 crunches, total time about 45 minutes.

Hope to get back on track with W6D3 tomorrow. I am still trying to shake this cold and am hoping one more non running day will help.

We went to EPCOT And Seaworld this weekend! Lots of fun, not too crowded!

Today was my first day bact to school so I had to dig deep to get my miles in. I did 3.78 miles in 60 minutes.
 
Did some pool work this morning.

I avoided drowning for 1.2 miles & 52 minutes...............
 
Hey hey, i went out with the running club again tonight. Now i didn't know the route so tried to keep front runners in sight. Ended up finishing with the first group of men!!!! no-one was more surprised than me. It wasn't fast but it was a tough course. 6 miles 54 mins and 10mins stretching. I liked it!!!!

Kate: Sounds like you enjoyed the running group!! Yeah. I am always amazed at your stretching and how you keep up with it.

I did 4 miles tonight after work. 57min 13sec. Not sure if I'll get in 3-4 miles on Thursday before I leave, we'll see. I will be doing alot of walking around on Saturday at DL and then my Half Marathon on Sunday!!!
