We were just in Disney at the beginning of March and added another whole day to save $800 on airfare! The additional resort day was $340 and we took the 6:30 flight out. The way I looked at it was if we left on the original day we were paying $800 more for flights and if I could get another vacation day for less than that it was a win.
We got up late, packed our bags, checked them at bell services had a nice breakfast then went and relaxed at the pool.
I brought along large plastic zip lock bags for our bathing suites then just changed in the bathrooms near the pool and packed them in our backpacks (personal carry on). It was a great way to relax before heading back to reality!
Also if you are taking Mears bus to the airport they pick you up about 3 hours early so you would be leaving around 5:00.
