Walt Disneys' dogs name?

We just got a new dog and we think he looks like the dog in POTC which at one time I heard was named after Walt's own dog. Can anyone help please!!

I looked on Wikipedia..it says Walts dogs name was Lady, not sure if that's right or not

From what I can find, the only dog he had was a poodle named "Lady".
When he was a kid he had a pet pig named "Skinny".
And the POTC dog was apparently named "Poochie"?

I did a search too, and came up the with the same info as lynxstch. Walt had a poodle named Lady.

Walt Disney had a Keeshond. Walt's Kees was named Katrina Van Fitz. Katrina was bred by Vera Fitzpatrick of Van Nuys, California, in 1935.
