where can i get some of the wd treasures dvd's? i saw them at walmart early this summer and never got it and then i saw the next volumes at wdw this weekend. looking for the cartoon ones about mickey, goofy, donald etc. any tips would be great. if someone has used one here i would be willing to buy it. not looking for it to be collectors item, i just want to watch the cartoons and show them to our daughter when she is older (11 months now and just had first trip to WDW).
thanks all,
mikewdw

I think I may have seen some of them at Costco today....

They are limited edition sizes (although a large edition size.)

I have seen them in several local stores (including Walmart and Sams Club) but you can also order them from Disney Movie Club.

Check out amazon.com and search Disney Treasures .

They offer all the fourth release, 3 of 4 of the 3rd release, and offer ALL the rest of release 1 and 2 through the "new & used" listings. These listings also give you an idea of what other people are willing to pay for them.

I've dealt with Amazon for years and never had the slightest problem.

thanks for the info everyone. now i am up to speed on this stuff. by the way, what is costco? is it online or a store? did see some of that on amazon but wasnt sure if the price they were asking was to high. are they worth that much( 40 -50$). i just remember not seeing enough disney cartoons as a kid (only got two channels, no cable) and when i saw the dvds i thought it would be great to see some of those cartoons but not necessarily that expensive. any reviews from you all?
thanks,
mikewdw

Costco is a huge membership warehouse club (like a Sam's Club)

I can't say they are or arn't worth the cost but for some 50 is the cheapest ya can find for some of them.

I got the first 7 in a box set at Costco over a year ago- I don't know how hard they are to find that way now though...

I know when the last 3 were released we got a display at Walmart that had 5/6 of the not so popular ones in it

Our Sam's Club has them for $20.47. Walmart has them for around $25.

I have seen some for sale at Barnes & Noble. I bought all the ones I have at the Disney Store where I used to work. The lastest ones just came out, so I need to see if they haveit at Once Upon a Toy.

I think they also re-released the first 4 or maybe it was 7 through the Disney Movie Club and they were pretty reasonable as far as price goes. Not sure IF they are still available or not.

Iw as in Wal-Mart a couple of days ago and was shocked :earseek: to find them there. Might be worth a look. I didn't check the prices because I had already bought mine.
