Walt Disney released 2013 offers-Virgin Holidays now booking OKW over 11-months out.

I've been checking prices for the last couple of days, for August 2013 and I can't believe that that there is now no availablity for POFQ or Coronado springs and PO has gone up by £100.

I had noticed this when I went on the Disney site. I emailed Charter Travel to get a quote and this is their response "Disney are having trouble with their systems and it isn’t showing availability for the larger rooms at the Port Orleans resorts for Summer next year. They do not know when this system error will be rectified so at the moment I cannot give you a quote on these." Looks like it's a problem within the system so there may be availability soon.

i have just looked at compete orlando for dates in sept 2013 and it says o accomodation available !! when i was geting prices for this year i found complete orlando to come back with prices loads higher than the disney website !!

Just got a price for a party of two from Virgin Holidays for a 21-night stay at Old Key West flying out 31st Oct 2013.

The full holiday price was £ 5,414.29 which includes flights from Gatwick, 21-nights OKW studio accommodation, Disney's 14 day Ultimate Ticket, Disneys Dinning Plan and the $200 Disney Spending Money

Therefore, OKW now available to book over 11-months out at another travel agent other than Disney's Travel Company.

As a comparison the same holiday but without flights booked through Disney would cost £3,564.30 for two.

That makes the cost of the flights with Virgin at £925 each, far too expensive.

Those dates still not showing up on Complete Orlando, has anyone else found anymore Travel Agents offering OKW over 11-months out?

I am surprised they have not let you already, they must be losing loads of bookings. If its Disney's decision I bet CO have done a lot of complaining the last week or so.

I hope so, but I'm not holding my breath! I just received an e-mail from them in answer to a query about the 11 month booking stipulation and they told me it was a new legal stipulation that Disney has introduced this year and to just keep checking on their website as Disney's policies sometimes change throughout the year! What i don't understand is why it only seems to be CO that can only book at 11 months out!!

That's interesting, would Charter Travel have also give you a confirmed guaranteed booking for that OKW or SSR room?

When I spoke yesterday, I was told that their MD was in a meeting with Disney, discussing this issue.

Yes, it is Disney's decision.

I was given a quote, £300 cheaper than Disney - just that you cannot book it yet.

Yes, I could've booked the room with Charter Travel, but I've decided to wait to see how this all plays out.
