Walt Disney biography for kids?

DD10 has to read a biography and do a report. 2 years ago when she had to do this, she did Betsy Ross. We took a 5 day trip to Philadelphia to research and get pictures, etc.
SOOOOO - I suggested Walt Disney and then we all looked at dh who said, "forget it! Use the pictures we took last time!"
Anyway- have any of your children used a specific book about Walt and really enjoyed it?

Not on Walt, but my DS10 did a biography last year on Hershey. The book was really pretty good, it's called Chocolate by Hershey.

I found this book on clearance for $2 so I bought it for my 5 year old. (She reads at a level way above her years.)

This book was so facinating. I read the first chapter and took it away from her until I was done. It has so many interesting facts about Walt and how he became the household name we know today. If nothing else I'd get it for her (and you) to read for fun.

Thank you for the help. I am ordering that book about Walt today!! DD says that 3 kids are doing Hershey, so the teacher said no more. Today, we went to the book store and she got a biography on some woman who studied sharks and one on Walt. She's going to decide between those 2 people. Hopefully, that book will come soon!
