My sister and I would like to do pics of the two of us for our parents for Christmas - I was checking out prices on-line, and Wal-mart has great deals. However, we've never done pics with them. What are their sitting fees? (There are packages that are like, 30 pics for $9, but what about other fees???)

How much do you normally spend??

I don't remember them having sitting fees. We signed up for their member card, it's the equivalent to Sears smile savers plan, but Walmarts is only $10 and you get a free 8X10 everytime you have pictures taken.

It is like 9.99 for the first 30 something pics (same pose) and then they have extra packages after that or you can pic a pose you like and it is 10.00 a sheet. I got DD's pics there last week and I got the 9.99 package and 2 8x10's of individual poses of each of them. I have always had a good experience with them. It takes about 3 weeks to get them back so go now!!!

Wal-mart doesn't have a sitting fee here. (The studio is called "Picture Me") I was interested to find out that the studio itself is not owned/operated by Wal-mart, it just leases the space. Picture packages start between $7-$10 depending on the season. The real trick is that the first picture you select as wanting to keep becomes your "package" photo. They continue to take photos after the first "keeper" and those are offered at an additional charge. (which you can politely decline)
