Walkway to Studios from Boardwalk??

Is this walkway blocked off at some point before/after the Studios operating hours??

Or could I do an early morning walk (6am) all the way to the Studios gates??

Done it many times. I go all the way to the boat dock at Disney Studios and then back to the BW area.
