Can someone explain further? I'm a dunce. I'll also have a stroller and walking would definitely be better.

I don't think that's possible. I know u can walk to contemporary but i'm pretty sure you cant walk to poly from there.

PP is correct. Your choices from the Poly are the boat to the MK or the monorail. The monorail is great with kids in strollers since you can just roll the stroller on board, with the kids and all the stuff still in it. Then, when you get to the MK, just roll it off and you're good to go.

I don't think thereis a path orsidewalk from MK to the Poly. You can walk from the Ticket and Trans area and thereisa walkway there. Maybe that is what you are thinking about. It is quite a distance from theMK to the Poly as well. The CR does havea path.

Not possible without walking along roads without sidewalks that have fast and heavy traffic. Very dangerous.

It would also be a long, long walk.

But getting to the Polynesian with a stroller or wheelchair is sooo easy.:goodvibes You can roll on to the resort monorail or take the large ferry to the TTC and make the short walk from there.

I guess technically you could walk to the Poly from Mk, but that would be a really long walk and down a pretty major road. I know you have a stroller, but you don't have to fold it or anything on the Monorail or Boat. I'd just do one of those.

I'm sorry I did mean TTC. TTC is an extension of MK in my head. Sorry about that. But you'd have to take a boat first to get to TTC (which means folding up stroller anyway). Okay, then back to monorail. :)

You normally have to fold the stroller if you take the little launches. There is a good step down into it too.

But the ferry is an easy roll on...no ramp needed even for wheelchairs.

No, you do not need to fold the stroller if you take the ferry.

So to answer how to get from the TTC to the Polynesian, walk out the gates to the TTC and hang an immediate right. Walk along the sidewalk that is in front of the TTC building. It just turns into the path to the Polynesian. You'll be on the grounds in less than a minute.

Where are you headed once at the Polynesian?

Unfortunately, misinformation on where you can and can't walk to does abound. Last week a CM I spoke to at WDW Dining complemented me on our choice of the Poly since "it's a nice walk to the Magic Kingdom." Only if he means to the loading platform of the monorail ;) I think some of the confusion probably is due to the fact that it would appear to be walkable from maps. The size of WDW is so massive that distances aren't well represented in available maps-- especially when the parks and resorts are have oversized graphics to represent the locations.

We have dinner at Ohana's on our possible ADR list.

And what, are you guys doubting that I can walk on water? B/c I can. :lmao:

You can't walk to/from the Poly to the Magic Kingdom. To do it, you would have to be able to walk on water:

Where you would have to walk on water is where the store the floats for the Electrical Water Pageant.

In the daytime, as you pass over this waterway on the monorail, you can catch a photo of the EWP boats all lined up along the wall.

Zoom in on this link posted by BCV23, and you can see the boats/barges.

Then just follow the signs that will lead to the Great Ceremonial House. Brown signs that you'll see as you enter the Polynesian property itself. But this is really only if you choose to take the ferry.

The resort monorail will drop you off on the second floor of the GCH and that's where 'Ohana and Kona are located.

Sounds like monorail is probably easier then. Thanks everyone!
