Can someone explain further? I'm a dunce. I'll also have a stroller and walking would definitely be better.
You can roll on to the resort monorail or take the large ferry to the TTC and make the short walk from there.I'm sorry I did mean TTC. TTC is an extension of MK in my head. Sorry about that. But you'd have to take a boat first to get to TTC (which means folding up stroller anyway). Okay, then back to monorail.![]()
I think some of the confusion probably is due to the fact that it would appear to be walkable from maps. The size of WDW is so massive that distances aren't well represented in available maps-- especially when the parks and resorts are have oversized graphics to represent the locations. You can't walk to/from the Poly to the Magic Kingdom. To do it, you would have to be able to walk on water:

Where you would have to walk on water is where the store the floats for the Electrical Water Pageant.
There's also World Drive up to the CR....but that's the way that would be so dangerous as there are no sidewalks.
And I'd expect that security would stop you too, right?

So to answer how to get from the TTC to the Polynesian, walk out the gates to the TTC and hang an immediate right. Walk along the sidewalk that is in front of the TTC building. It just turns into the path to the Polynesian. You'll be on the grounds in less than a minute.
Where are you headed once at the Polynesian?

Then just follow the signs that will lead to the Great Ceremonial House. Brown signs that you'll see as you enter the Polynesian property itself. But this is really only if you choose to take the ferry.
The resort monorail will drop you off on the second floor of the GCH and that's where 'Ohana and Kona are located.
