walking to Epcot from BWV

I have asked here before about things to do at BWV since DH and I are staying there for one night before our cruise, but the airline has changed our flight times and now we will have a little more time, and I noticed at Themeparks.com that they have Epcot WS as being open till 9pm ( a sat night). So my ? is, how long of a walk is it to Epcot from BWV and is the walkway via the WS? It has been 2 years since we've been to WDW and I can barely remember a back gate near England? seems like we saw some Alice in Wonderland characters there so I am guessing here Help!
PS we are staying in a standard view studio if that makes a diiference

You are about a 5 minute walk to EPCOT's International Gateway Entrance. You can also take the boat. The entrance is located between England and France.

The gate to BW is between England and France. It's a leisurely 15' walk, but there also is a launch which can take you back as well.

after a plane ride in coach I think a walk would beat the boat anytime
Eros, so I'm not losing all my memory......... but...
I would have never remembered France was right there too...ahhh the bakery, I can smell it now

BWV to MGM, and BWV to Epcot.

So, last week while at WDW, I took the GPS receiver, and walked (and measured) the
lengths of these paths.

So, here's the third report: The path from the Boardwalk Villas to the entrance to Epcot
at the International gateway.

We orginally started measuring this walk from the ground level at the bottom of the
steps at the exit of the lobby areas of the Boardwalk resort. We then followed the
boardwalk to the right, across the bridge, and turned right following the path to Epcot.
We measured up to the ticket boot area at the entrance to Epcot.

The total length as measured by the GPS was 0.36 miles .

I didn't take any photos on this walk, and am pretty confident that most DVC members
are familiar with the walk. We didn't walk very fast, a measured 2.5 mph, and the walk
took just under 9 minutes."
