Hi Netty, its a w.i.s.h thing, you work out how far the world is from you and when you're going and you walk x amount of miles each day to lose weight!, not toooo bad for most of our american friends but they've mostly got a 3thousand mile head start on us!
Why don't we all get together, build a raft and do a 'paddle to disney' challenge instead, I'm 'fairly' near lands end, seems like a good starting point.

I've been doing the 10,000 step thing too Berwyn even though I'm genetically predisposed to avoid exercise at all costs!!!! This is a good website to convert other forms of exercise into steps, taking into account your sex, height and present weight.
