Walking times

I walked the reverse in under 8 minutes in September. I had a PPO breakfast at Be Our Guest. I entered the park on the left side entrance (the side the barbershop is on). The time stamp on my photos show that I entered the park at 7:46am and was at BOG at 7:53am.

I did not power walk. I walked an average pace.

Depending on the crowds and how many people in your party and wether or not you have a stroller, I would say give or take a minute you should be able to get from 7DMT to the Barbershop in around 10 minutes.

Thanks. I should say I’m not even coming from SDMT, we’ll probably be at Columbia Harbour House prior to our appt. She just picked a random point in the park and offered that info.

It actually has taken me that long a number of times. I'm easily distracted by just about anything, "oh look a butterfly" "squirrel" and tend to stop and look. I also take my time and look at all the details and get distracted "squirrel".

Well sometimes I do too, but if you had an appointment you would probably be mindful of the time.

I also like the post about the challenges of herding a large group. It can be nearly impossible to keep large groups on task.

Weather can also be a factor. Many times we've crossed theme parks in-between short downpours, and were very happy we allowed a little extra time.

CM's have always advised guests to arrive a few minutes ahead of ADR times. I'm thinking it is also possible in this case as well. WDW never likes to have vacant tables or CM's waiting on us to arrive. They always prefer us to be queued up for THEM. If the person before you is a no-show, then the CM wouldn't have any work until you arrive, and Disney never wants to have that happen.
