Walking for Cystic Fibrosis...Question RE: Asking for Donations

May 23rd, I will be walking for Cystic Fibrosis-my boyfriends cousin has a daughter, Courtney, who is 1 1/2 years old, with the disease. I sent out an e-mail a while ago to friends/family. The response was pretty good, but I haven't hit my goal yet...
I had a few people reply saying they would donate, but have not yet sent/given me their donations. Would it be rude to send a follow up e-mail reminding them that the walk is this weekend, and that if they are still interested in donating, I need the donations to me by Saturday?

No, I don't think its wrong to remind them of something they committed to.

Good luck on your walk! I think its great that you are supporting a great cause.
