Walking Distances at WDW???

Has anyone seen posted walking distances around WDW? I was wondering things like..... distances around WS, from Space Mtn to Splash Mtn, from Safari to Dinosaur?? Not necessarily those specifically but I was just wondering if anyone has ever actually measured specific distances around WDW??

Maybe they are posted on tourguidemike site?

Any ideas??

The Passporter maps show walking time between various points on the map.

I second that...the Passporter is great for telling you distances!

I may have to dig out my old passporter.

I'm surprised that there isn't more infomation about distances out there

There have been a couple of people that measured out the distances around different points. The main ones I remember are the loop of WS is 1 mile, it is ~.25 miles from the entrance of AK to the Safari ride, and it is just over a mile on the walking path from MGM to Epcot.

Some of the resort maps show distances on their jogging trails around lakes or between resorts.

ETA-I think Caskbill is the one who came up with these measurements. Do a search for his name and you will find links for the different measurements.

My dad took a pedometer with him last year. He checked the miles every evening. One day we had walked a little under 9 miles and the next day we walked just over 11. I think the 11 mile day was at Epcot.
