I have been trying to get dinner ressies for Wolfgang Puck's Cafe to no avail. I've been told that they are currently accepting walk ups on the dates that I've requested. Does this mean that all available reservations have been booked but they will still accept walk ups? If all tables are booked, then I would think we wouldn't be able to be seated anyway if we happen to walk up. :confused3

I was told the same thing and am also wondering what it really means :confused3

If they're accepting walk-ups, they don't pre-book ALL of the tables. In fact, no restaurant books 100% of their tables in advance. How many they set aside for walk-ups probably varies from place to place, and from company to company (Disney vs outside like Puck's). In any event, I'd get there towards the very beginning of the meal period for the best chance of eating without a long wait.

Even popular LeCellier will take a small # of walkups if you're there before the start of the actual meal....we found the same thing true at 'Ohana as well (dinner).

when we were there last year, they were one of the few places that were taking walk-ups. They were for several hours later, but they were taking walk-ups where most places like Capt. Jacks at DTD were not.
