Hi, I am considering staying at this specific Springhill Suites (the one at 1160 W Ball Rd) and I am wondering whether anyone knows for sure whether we can easily walk to Mickey and Friends or Pixar Pals structures. I've never tried to get into M&F on foot.

I google mapped it and it SEEMS I should be able to, but I am wondering whether it's truly doable.

Or, if it's a reasonable walk to DTD from that hotel... google maps indicates I would have to go around the west side of M&F which seems silly but I am not usually on that side of the property so this is new to me.

Any real-life experience with the properties, fences, and pedestrian restrictions on that side are greatly appreciated!

It is possible to walk to M&F/PP from Ball Rd. I think for the hotel in question, you would walk west on Ball Rd. to Walnut, then go south on Walnut to Magic Way, and go east on Magic Way almost to the corner of Disneyland Dr. Before you get all the way to Disneyland Dr., you will see the CM DTD lot on your right (south) side and a gate leading to that lot. (There is a signpost that shows which way to go for M&F or for DTD.) There are also stairs going up to the pedestrian bridge which crosses Magic Way -- that bridge leads to PP/M&F. (I don't think you can just enter PP/M&F from the street.) But if you are already at the gate to the CM DTD lot, it is only about a few minutes walk from there to the DTD bag check by the old ESPN Zone building. We often walk from M&F to that bag check -- easy and quicker than backtracking on the pedestrian bridge to PP/M&F. I hope this makes sense.

We were just there beginning of December and we had an easy walk to Disney...like theluckyrabbit said, go south on Walnut and then head east on Magic way. We went down the driveway to Disneyland Hotel, cut across the parking lots (go left through them) and came out by the small but rarely used security stand. Once through that we headed to the monorails, which check you in to the Disneyland side and away we went to the castle. super quick and easy. We "rescued" a few lost folks and showed several groups this shortcut...The hotel gives out maps and are very helpful with directions

Thank you both!

Yup...agree...quicker to just walk through DTD then backtrack into the garages to try and get on the trams.
