Can someone explain Hertz gold for me

Hi everyone,
I have a hertz reservation for a midsize suv at mco and iam a gold member.
Iam picking the car up from terminal b, do I get an assigned vehicle or do I pick a car from the gold line. ( is my name on the board)
If I do get an assigned vehicle and don't like it can I swap it out for something in the gold line.
Any advice would be be great as haven't rented from hertz in a good few years.

I've rented via Hertz Gold in the past from MCO. You just go directly over to the rental area in the parking deck (follow the signs). No need to go to the desk in the terminal. Depending upon which bridge you go over into the parking deck, you might need to bear right and go a bit of distance (it's not well marked and easy to miss). You can skip the Hertz desk in the parking deck and look on the board - your name should be there. Then just go to the Gold area (it's marked on the pillars) and pick any car from that area. Drive out, and an attendant at the parking deck gate will ask for your ID and confirm your exit/reservation.

We have used Hertz Gold and yes a car was assigned with our name on the board. One time we asked for a swap and there was no problem. It was done in the garage. I think the PP (DL1) might be referencing the AI issues at some airports. I would not use Hertz if that was the case.
