walk from PBH to parks?

How far is it from the Portofino to the parks? I had thought that this was the closest hotel to the parks but when I looked on the web site it looks even further away then RPR. Thanks.

Hard Rock is the closest, Portofino the farthest. The walk is doable by many, some will have to take the boat, bike or bus. It takes us about 15 minutes maybe a bit more to walk it but we do it a lot when we stay there if the boat isnt around.

Thanks fant2CSkr. Can anyone compare the walk from PBH to the one from RPR we stayed there last time.

to me the walk to the parks from PBH feels twice as long as RPR. the twists at RPR are much shorter and it is closer to IOA. i rarely take the walk from PBH. only walked it when i had just missed the boat or there was lighting and they weren't running. on a hot day it can be brutal from PBH but if you are young and energetic than go for it.

It is a long walk, we also had to walk back to the PBH due to a lightning storm as the boats stop running. It is not a straight path and as the above poster stated A LOT of TWISTS and TURNS. It is the furthest resort from the parks...in the heat it feels even longer

Last year they had pedal cabs running between the resort and the parks.....I did n ot use them but they were there - not sure if they still offer this service.

It is about 20 minutes. We walked it every morning and mostly every night for our 7 day trip in February. It was beautiful.

There are other forms of transportation that require less walking. The bus takes you very close to the Studios and the water taxi takes you to the CityWalk lagoon docks. We have even walked half way and caught the boat from HRH.
