Walk from OKW to Riverside/French Quarters

Has anyone recently walked the back way to French Quarters/Riverside from OKW. We did this a few years ago to see if it could be done. Was a nice walk but never saw another else. It was a nice walk to go down for breakfast. It is just old road and just wanted to know if other have done recently. In 15 days will be home at OKW,

There is no path to walk between POFQ and OKW. You'd have to walk along side the road and Disney discourages that because of the potential for injuries. You either need to drive between the two resorts or take a boat or bus to DTD and then boat or bus back to the other resort.

I don't know if the dirt service road/path is still there, or if it has overgrown.

Deb, there is/was a dirt service or construction road to POFQ across from the employee entrance/service area of OKW (on Millers Road).

But it's not meant for guests to walk on. It's for construction and unless they are wearing hard hats and steel-toed shoes, they shouldn't be walking there.

I actually remember it being designated as a walking path on the OKW map many years back. Then one year it was longer indicated on the map. I wish I could remember how many years ago that was. So much for those senior moments.
