walk for life - update

My daughter Rhiannon and I and some of her workmates did a 10 km walk for life in aid of breast cancer today. It was a really beautiful bright autumn day and the walk was in the grounds of a huge local historic building. There were about 600 people many of whom were dressed in pink (including dogs !!!), and there was a really good spirit to the whole thing. We 5 raised over £500 between us and it was a really good experience (even though I feel like I'll never walk again at the moment!!! )

Oh excellent, well done for raising all that money! I ran the Race for Life (5km) back in May so I know how fun it is! Even if your muscles do feel like they want to die the next day.

Well done di and Rhiannon, Its a great cause to raise money for My self and My mother in law took part in the Race for Life last year, We couldn't take place this year as we were in Florida but we will take part in next years
