Walk between AK and AKL?

Are AK and AKL close enough to walk between? We have ressies at Boma on the evening we are visiting AK, and would like to walk if possible.

No, you can't walk between the AK and the AKL. You'd have to cross the savannahs!

On maps, it looks much closer than it really is. It probably wouldn't take much to walk there, but there is no safe way to walk.. no trails or sidewalks. Just hop on the AKL bus and you will be there in just a few minutes

One other thing to note...buses coming from the parks to AKL will go to Kidani Village (the DVC building) first - so wait for the 2nd stop which will be the Jambo House (main lodge) where Boma is located.

After a day in the parks, it is even too much to walk between Kidani and Jambo house... I think it is about 1/2 mile or so between the 2.

As previous poster has suggested, there is no safe way to walk between the resort and the park.
