Walgreens RR question

I always hear different things, but can I use my RR from Walgreens towards the purchase of something else that will spit out a RR? I bought the special k protein shakes today, and got my $5 RR. I want more, but also want other stuff too, and some of the other stuff is also supposed to generate RR. So I didn't know if for example, I bought 2 more protein shakes, some shampoo etc......I could use the $5 RR and expect to have more spit out.

I think you will have to do separate orders.. the way I understand it if you pay with the special K RR a new one wont print out

You can not buy another product from the same company and get another RR. For example, if you get a RR from unilever, you can't buy more unilever products and pay with that RR and get another. You can take that RR, buy something from a different company like Loreal (I don't think they're the same), get a RR from there and then go back to the Unilever if you want. You can easily go back and forth this week. I will say that very rarely you can "roll" one RR into the next meaning you can use the RR you just got on the same product and it just keeps spitting them out. When that does happen, they usually fix it quickly. Google some words and you'll quickly find scenarios that people have already figured out to make it easy for you.

You can't get RR on an item if you used an RR from that same item in the same transaction. For example, if the special K generates an RR and another product, such as shampoo also generates and RR then you can use the special K RR to get the shampoo and you'll still get the shampoo RR. However, you can't use the special K RR to get more speciak K. Even if you have other items in the transaction, if you use the special K RR you won't get another one.

How do the protein shakes taste? Do they come in flavors and if so, do you recommend any one in particular? Thanks!

This week, you can roll back and forth between the shampoo and toothbrushes, since they're both "free" items, I haven't bought any shakes but you could throw that in the mix. The Vitamin shampoo is really nice, smells yummy!

What you could do: Use your $5 RR from the shakes to buy one shampoo and one of the GUM toothbrush sets. You'll owe around $2.50, and should get two RR's to spit out that way, one for $3.50 and one for $4.00.

Take those two RR's and use them to buy more shakes. (two seperate transactions! not together!) If you get a nice cashier, they'll let you do the two transactions right there, not like you'd make two trips, just tell them you need to do two transactions.

In theory, you could keep rolling back and forth all week like that, or until they run out of something, which is probably what will happen.

Next week there are a couple more "free" things so you'll be able to use up any RR's from this week no problem.
