Wal*Mart

well if you walked into a store in your p.j.'s, I would think you didn't care about yourself. If you didn't even have the energy to get dressed in the morning you would be lazy in my eyes and would have no self confidence.

I'm glad you feel that way.
And how does lazy have to do with having no self confidence?

So Angel, tell me how you can walk into WalMart, and pick out the people who are on welfare? Do you have some sort of x-ray vision?

You really need to step off of your incredibly high pedestal, it's never going to get you anywhere.

Disneydance, that's crap and you know it.

Also, I think it takes really HIGH self-esteem to go out in your pj's and not care what the hell anyone else thinks. Let's see, I'm 15 and about to graduate high school, then start college at 16 and get a full-time job to help pay for it. But I should just give all that up, right? Because I'll never get anywhere since I go to walmart in my pajamas.

Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous.

Shelby, all I can say is thank you. Thank you for going to walmart in your pj's.

haha, you're welcome jenny. and thank you jenny, for being another pajama success story.;)

you are too lazy to get dressed in the morning is what I meant PurpleDucky

And, just because I need to get this out.

My mom dropped out of high school in 10th grade, only to go on and get her GED, then Bachelor's degree in accounting. When I was young, we were on foodstamps off and on while my mother was trying to pay her student loans off, and still be a full-time student and mother.

I'll be happy to tell her you think she's a lazy alcoholic.

I was saying SOME (SOME MEANING NOT EVERYONE) people. If you look back I said SOME.

Ok i'm horrible i'm terrible i'm a B%$ch since i'm against Wal Mart I just have other feeling about it where i live there are alot of other places to shop and thats the way it is there is a Mall right next to the Wal Mart where i live and we would much rather by clothes there and there is a Haggen right across the street and we dont care about toys and we have a Target and a Costco if we need video games right next to each other and they are closer we have everything we need with out walking into a Wal Mart and JMO there prices arent any better than Targets. So thats why Wal Mart is thought as lower class where i live due to its un clean dis organized long lines etc. thats how its thought as lower class where i live most people i know thinks of it as lower class and refer to it that way i'm sorry i grew up another way and have other feelings

Well you call it lower class. Many people shop there so.... you think we all lower then you? Its nice you think your so great and we're not.

Have A Nice Day :)

since tis was probly directed to me also, I intend to.

I wrote lazy and not confident.

well why did you write the not confident part, but then go on to say that you didn't mean that to devan?

i can pretty much guarantee you that devan, jenny, and I (the ones with the proverbial balls to go out in our pajamas) have a lot more self confidence than anyone who is going to stand there and judge us for it.

Trust me, I have seen everything and I don't want people to think of our family as that.

Eh, you have, have ya?

You couldn't possibly, or you wouldn't be saying all this crap.

She asked what I meant by lazy.

You people just don't see the world. Trust me. Even though I am 12 I can guarantee you that I have a lot more of a look on the world than you. So lets just drop this. *click*

If you meant that, then why was it not in your original post?
You said I have no self confidence. And I truly believe that's what you meant.

And to answer your question. No
I don't need to look beautiful just to go to Wal mart. Or any other grocery stores for that matter. I know how to clean up, I dress up nice for nice restuarants and etc.

Your one of them stuck-up, show-off kinda person aren't you?

Lets see how far you get in life once you enter the real world.

:-)

I really try not to judge people off their clothes or shoes or whatever, but if I see someone in pajamas in pubic I get the smallest twinge of laziness from them. It doesn't matter where they are, be it school, Walmart, walking down the street, going into a restaurant, or walking into a designer store. I just don't see what's so difficult about putting on a pair of jeans. I don't really understand how you would need a lot of self confidence to wear pajamas in public. Even if I'm just running uptown to get something from the local grocery store (we don't have any walmarts or target in my town, they're about 20+ minutes away) or gas station or something on a saturday i'd still put jeans on, because i'd be pretty embarassed if a teacher or other adult i respected saw me in my pajamas. i could care less what the kids in my school think though, because they're the ones who wear sweatpants or pjs to school every day.

this is just my opinion, though. i've been reading the thread and just wanted to put in my two cents. :)
