I was surprised we napped so easily! It was needed, the heat really wiped us out. MNSSHP on the way!

I saw that Disney Channel Rock Floats and thought it would be something my younger sister would enjoy...she's a bit older than Kadence but am glad to hear it went down well.

Love the photos that were taken once Kadence had temporarily come out of her shell I never saw that sign at DHS but it does look pretty cool.

Looking forward to hearing about MNSSHP and how our evenings differed.

Kadence said later that she should have danced with them! Silly girl.
Her shell lasted about 2.5 seconds!

All too soon, the alarm went off and actually scared me!
John and I got up and changed into what we had picked for costumes. I was going as a Green Bay Packer fan, John as a Tampa Bay Lightning fan. We got Kadence up and she got changed into her Sleeping Beauty gown only this time topped off the her new crown (thanks Kimberly!!)

We got back to the bus stop right as a MK bus pulled up, and off we went!
UGH! Camera fog-up!



It was so hot and steamy out, I wish I hadn’t worn a polyester shirt; I sweat so much my hair was about plastered to my head. I must warn you, I think these are some of the worst pics I’ve ever been in!

The Princess



We were hungry, and had planned on eating at Columbia Harbour House, but it was closing for the party. Pecos Bill sounded good, so we headed over.

Being that it was so hot, I didn’t want heavy food, so we picked Taco Salads and a kid’s burger.



It was nice to cool down go over our plans for the night. I wanted an Umbrella, as the skies were darkening and I was NOT putting a plastic poncho on and trap my body heat inside! We headed inside the store, we had a very nice CM who just thought Kadence was so cute and she offered to make her a sash out of Mickey stickers! Kadence picked out a Happily Ever After button to keep it together.

Kadence: It was so cool! I even like to other costumes we seen. Except for the scary one

ME: One Zombie wasn’t gonna hurt you.

Kadence: Not him, the man in the dress, he looked like he was crazy!
And I got lots of stickers!!

I'm not big into pro football but if I had to pick a team, it'd be the Packers! They seem cool. And that's coming from someone in the middle of Redskin country. Kadence's dress is so cute!

I didn't think we'd be able to nap either, but I think once the comfortable air of the room set in it was all we needed. It was warmer than I had been all summer here in WI.
My hottness will only get hotter, and wait until you see Kadence from later in the night! What a sweaty baby.

She was so worried about losing the stickers that she took of the sash a little while later and stored it. She happily decorates her covered school books with them!

I had to represent! We got lots of comments, one Bear fan was a bit rude, but whatever we beat them!

I knew that if Kadence and I wanted to be (in her words) large and in charge of the night we'd need naps. She is usually early to bed and early to rise, so staying up past midnight was gonna be a challenge without rest.

Refreshed, no I would need cool weather for that!

Those stickers are closely guarded in her room, and I have top ask her if I want one!

I really hate that kind of weather I tried to stay out of all the pictures, but I had to give in to a few. Just to prove I was there!

Kadence wore her sash for about 30 mins. Just before we got in line she removed them. She is very picky about who she hands them out to! I snuck some for a friend, but I'll never tell!

By this time, it was getting towards 6:00pm and our goal was the 7 Dwarves. We headed over to Splash Mountain to find where they were setting up. By 6:01 we were in line. We were the 4th or 5th family in line and had a perfect spot, right in front on a bench! Bonus! Kadence and I spent time sitting and standing.
Here I was, standing in line, waiting, chatting with those around us, and all of a sudden I hear a “Hello”
It was my very first DIS meet! TanzUnited for Manchester, England! We chatted, asked how we each were enjoying our trips, Kadence & John were introduced, and photos were taken!



She was actually only about 5 or so families behind us! She went back to finish her dinner, and Kadence started to ham it up a bit!



We got our treat bags as we entered MK earlier, they were Spooky Buddies themed.



Soon it was time! Kadence went first, but when she bypassed Grumpy to hug Dopey, he got all grumpy!















Soon she came back and made him a little less grumpy!

It was now time to do a little Trick or Treating! Along the trail we go!

ME: I know we waited a long time to see the 7 Dwarves. You did great with your patience especially with how warm it was.
Kadence: I was sweaty, but it was fun. I liked meeting that lady with the accent. You said she was from New London. I liked the way she talked!
ME: LOL Not New London (FYI that is a town about 15 minutes from our home) I said London, and it’s way across the ocean. She did have a cool accent!
Kadence: I loved meeting the 7 dwarves! I skipped Grumpy because I wanted to hug Dopey first. He is my favorite! Grumpy was happy that I did hug him too. Sneezy sneezed one me!
ME: What did you think about trick or treating at Disney?
Kadence: It was so fun, I got lots of good candy like reese peanut buttercups, and snickers! I’m glad I said no to the raisins!
