I would never have been able to keep it secret. What a wonderful wonderful surprise! I sure wish someone would wake me up for a super secret trip to WDW at 0330 or any other time for that matter.

It was hard to keep it for so long, but I was so happy we did. DH almost blew a couple times, but thank goodness she only half listens to us

I'd get up at anytime to go to Disney!

I love it on both counts!

That Tea Party looks like so much fun for a little girl! I wish I had a little girl to take to it...maybe I could borrow my niece for an afternoon. Kadence looks like she's having so much fun and her princess dress looks really pretty.

LOL, it's my fault for a lot of things! My older DD does roll her eyes at me, she runs from me too!

Hi All! Sorry for the lack of updates this week, I've been beyond busy here. Wed was my Birthday, and we had a blizzard
The power went out at work and schools were called at 1:30. The next day I got to school the power was still out and we lost a heck of a lot of food

Then Kadence had a Bowling B-day party with 10 of her friends from school at 3:30 to 5:30 ( CRAZINESS X 10) after that I drove and hour and a half to meet my sister from Illinois so she could give me 2 of her kiddos ages 3 & 5 to keep until Monday as she had a wedding to stand in, in Florida. I finally got home at 9:30pm and tried to get the kids to sleep (ugh, they had long naps from thier 4 hour car ride earlier

I worked Friday, then cleaned house all day today as we are having a family party for Kadence on Sunday after noon. I'm so tired and still have food to perpare and kids to corral. I need a nap

Kadence will be 8 on Monday, I don't know where the time is going. I promise an update on Tuesday, after all the craziness has gone.! And maybe a b-day pic or 2 as well! Have a Great weekend everyone!

Well, our days, as blessed as we are, didn't go as well as I would have liked. We had an heavy snowstorm on my b-day and lost power at work and surrounding towns for 2 days.

Kadence had a wonderful b-day weekend and was spoiled greatly by one and all. Monday was her actual b-day and on the way to take out to a special dinner I hit a deer and my poor truck is looking pretty sadWe are all fine, so thats wonderful ,but still a bummer.

After I run to get estimates this after noon, I'll try to get my promised update up!

Thanks! We got 6-8 inches, but as of today it's all gone! It's supposed to be 58 tomorrow so who knows what going on with the weather I'm sad my poor truck got hurt to. That deer is lucky she's dead!

I thought I'd share the good & not so good with you all. First, my baby's b-day!



A new bed from Sammy for her Disney doll.


New slippers and Jammies that she wanted so bad. She saw them in Justice 2 months ago and Momma remebered! Score!



Her new favorite toy, Squinkies! She got all the Disney princesses, Cinderella was a gift earlier in the week from a friend,






And now for my poor truck







I'm waiting on a call call to get an estimate on it. Our deductiable is $500, and on Monday our Christmas club was deposited. The amount........$520
I need to win the lotto

Sadly, we left Epcot via the Monorail. We wanted to take the boats over to the Wilderness Lodge, so we got off the monorail at MK. The skies were darkening, and I was thinking we were going to get poured on. I took a few pics while waiting for the WL boat to arrive. Here's one, I know I have more, but where are they?



Our ADR time was 5:05pm, and it was already 4:30 and I was starting to worry we’d miss our ADR time. Just as I was debating whether or not to find a bus, the boat appeared from the direction of WL. It was so warm out, that there was no way I wanted to sit inside the cabin, even with the chance of rain!

Finally we arrived, and then it started raining! Less pictures than I wanted, but had to keep the water away from the camera!



Once inside we checked in right at 5:05!

I barley took any when our buzzer went off, and we were seated in the way back of the restaurant. It was nice though, because we had the best time!

First, our salad came,



along with chocolate milkshakes! YUM!



Cornbread and sweet butter as well, sooo gooood Mmmmm!



Then, the table behind us asked for ketchup! LOL
Thirty bottles later we were so giggling at them. Soon after they were done eating and they left. Kadence was scared to ask for ketchup, because she ordered a burger and French fries. John & I told her to just go grab one bottle from the table when the waitress wasn’t looking, so she did. Soon that table was cleaned and ketchup removed. Our waitress came along to clear our salad. She instantly stopped and asked us where we got the ketchup. Kadence froze, and the funniest thing happened, she pointed at John! None of us said a word, and she was like, “Ok, you ketchup stealer, you are in trouble now!”
She turned around picked up something from around the corner, and came back to place the “Canyon Jail”! LOL



He had to stay “in jail” until our food came. Once she came by and John was drinking his pop, and hse yelled, “No food or drink in Jail!”

Our waitress came by again, but this time, she came bearing a cupcake for Kadence! Her Birthday button was noticed, and the table next to us was celebrating a b-day as well, so the waitress combined them together and made everyone the the room sing Happy Birthday to them!






Right after that, out food arrived, boy were we starving! Kadence got a kids meal, burger & ff.



We shared the Canyon skillet. We loved it all, except for the beans.



We actually were so stuffed; there wasn’t any way to eat a desert, so we declined it.

We then took a stroll towards the busses, as it was raining to hard and I didn’t want to get soaked on the boat back to MK.

But, didn’t matter anyway, because the bus dropped us as close to the MK gate as possible, and we had to run to get to the POP bus stop. Kadence had asked to swim again, but it was still pouring and the pool was empty so I figured it was closed.
Back in the room, we discovered two new friends!



We just ended up relaxing, watching Survivor, and falling asleep early to get ready for early ADR at O’hana!

ME: Do you like the Wilderness Lodge?
Kadence: Yes, it was big!
ME” What did you think of eating at the restaurant there?
Kadence: It was good, but I was scared.
ME: Why?
Kadence: I didn’t want to get in trouble for stealing the ketchup?
ME: Wasn’t it nice that Dad took the blame?
Kadence: Yeah, but I was scared I was going to get in trouble. But they never knew it was ME!! They even got me a cupcake! Hahaha

Great update! Happy Birthday to you and Kadence! I loved her B-day cake with those butterflies on it. Sorry about your mis-hap with the deer. Glad you are ok. I have had a heck of a week too, I actually had my Gallbladder out on Monday afternoon so I am recovering from that.

Looks like you had a great dinner at the WCC! We went there in 2010 for DH's B-day and they gave him a cupcake too but at the end of our meal as dessert. We couldn't fit anything else in either. LOL at the Canyon Jail, it was Good of your Hubby to "take the rap" for her. LOL

Great updates! That doll bed she got is super-cool; it's something I would have definitely wanted back when I was a kid! Of course, I didn't have dolls that big, but Barbie could have hung out in there somewhere.

I've never eaten at Whispering Canyon before; it's on my short-list of must dos. However, I'm a ketchup junkie - if they brought me 30 bottles of ketchup, I just might attempt to use them all!!

The food looks good from here, though.
