Waitlisting, Online Checkin and Magic Bands???

We are going to the World 11/7-11/12 and staying at AKV-J. Since I am inside 60 days, I can do online checkin. We are waitlisted for a studio at BWV which I left at 7-days, but I doubt it will come through. So, since AKV-J is a test resort for the magic bands, will online check in improve my chances of being able to participate? How would that effect my waitlist? I think the test period ends in October anyways so how would that effect people traveling the first week of November? I would rather get my BWV waitlist than test magic bands, but since I doubt I will get it anyways, I want to maximize my chance of using magic bands too.

We were in AKV Jambo from 8/14-25 and we were told that DVC guests were not getting the bands only the regular lodge guests.

I'm staying at Jambo in 2 weeks and have already received my magic bands.

Jambo House Villas were added to the testing for Oct arrivals.
