Waitlist

First time we used a wait list for Columbus Day weekend at the Boardwalk (1 bedroom) and I was wondering for all of you veterans if you think that it will come through? It is only for one night, Sunday the 8th? How close to the trip do you think I should book a hotel room thinking I won't get it? We got a reservation for the 4 nights before. Any advice would be helpful!!

That weekend could be iffy, although you are getting on the waitlist pretty early. Frankly, I would go ahead and make the hotel reservation as all of the resorts could fill on that weekend. Regular reservations can be cancelled up to 5 days out, so you would be covered and could easily cancel without penalty.

October at BWV is extremely hard to get. With one night, you may have some luck, but I'd go ahead and book that room now. You can always cancel if your waitlist comes through.
