Waitlist to add on?

Does anyond know how long it takes to add on points through Disney at BCV. Does Disney still pay closing costs when you by through them?

There are no closing costs for add-ons from DVC.

Depending upon your Use Year and the resort you are interested in, there may or may not be a wait list. I've added on 12 times, and was only placed on a wait list once.

I've been on a waitlist for BCV points for almost 10 MONTHS!!!! Really starting to wonder. I guess I really don't care now. I'm not getting 06 points now so I mind as well wait for it to get closer to my UY.

FWIW, at a meeting at OKW in July about adding on at OKW, there was also discussion about buying into other resorts directly from DVC.

I forget the exact number, but we were told there was a waitlist for purchases into BCV that had over 90 names on it.

I'm sure DVC's waitlist is as long, or longer, now.

I must be lucky or have a lucky Use Year. I did 3 add-ons at BCV in 2007, and was only waitlisted for one of them. Plus, I only had to wait less than 4 weeks.

Maybe it was that bribe I gave my guide?

Sept. seems to be the worst. A fellow Sept UY Diser just finally got theirs after like 8 or 9 months, but here I am still waiting.
