Waitlist Success!

After much worry and many phone calls "just to double-check", I got my confirmation today for all four nights at HHI. I didn't even get on the wait list until March and we'll be there June 29-July 3, so I think we were very lucky to get what we did, particularly because we went for a studio. We got a couple nights right off the bat, then one a few weeks later, and the last night just came through. This is our first trip to HHI for some much-needed R and R, so I'm SO excited!

We also got our confirmation for BCV from Dec 25-30, also off the waitlist. So far, my waitlist successes have been 100%.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the waitlist DOES work (as long as you ask for day-by-day confirmations)!

Congratulations!! Guess there's some hope for my THanksgiving Day waitlist at VWL. Have the next 5 nights reserved there but day of arrival, T-day, we're still at BWV. Here's hoping I'll be lucky like you.

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm currently on the waitlist for a Boardwalk View 1 BR at BWV. I'm not as concerned for me, but this is probably a "once in a lifetime" trip for me to share with DS, so I want everything to be perfect for him(why are Moms like that?) and I know he said he'd especially like a Boardwalk view.
