Waitlist ?'s

I have a Savannah view Studio booked at AKL, and we called yesterday to be put on waitlists for either a Concierge Studio or 1-bedroom Studio. Our trip is at the end of July.

How often do waitlists pan out? What do you think my chances are of actually getting in?

I don't want to keep my hopes up if only like 10% gets picked.

Any info/thoughts would be appreciated!

There is a very limited number of concierge rooms at AKV. There are 5 2 bedroom lockoffs. That makes for a max of 10 rooms if they are all book as 5 studios and 5 1 bedrooms.

Oh dear! That wasn't the answer I was hoping for! Thanks for the info. Is there anyway to find out how many people are ahead of you?

There at too many variables to a waitlist that prevent them from saying where you are on the list. We are doing concierge in September after the member cruise. I booked the room as soon as the 11 month window opened.

From reports here, the view from the concierge rooms is not as good as a regular savanna view room. There is an overhang from the thatched room that obscures the view some what. We are doing it for the concierge level services and the exclusive safari and not the view.

Well I don't know how scientific it is but we have been waitlisted since January for a 1 bedroom savannah view at Kidani, for our May trip and it has not come through. We have a one bedroom standard view right now, this trip will be awsome regardless of our view.
