Waitlist Question

We have a 1br LV room at BLT reserved and are on a waitlist for a MK view but now we are unsure that we want the MK view anymore.

My question is, if a MK view happens to become available for us, will DVC call us first to check if we still want it or will they automatically change our room reservation?

if you are on an active waitlist and there is a match it is automatic (it will automatically book/and or cancel any other existing reservation); MS does not call to see if you still want it first. There is a nice BLT thread with pictures here that members have posted with different room views.

No they do not call to tell members that what has been waitlisted is now available or to ask you if you still want it or not. So when you set up a waitlist with MS it means that you will accept what was requested if it becomes available and the reservation you had will be cancelled unless you cancel your waitlist beforehand.
